Arknights reroll guide

Arknights is one of the easier games to reroll: the beginner banner guarantees a 6-star within its first 10 pulls, and a try takes about 15 minutes if you skip the story. SilverAsh is the classic pick from that banner.

From the beginner banner

SilverAsh
S6-star / Guard
His third skill turns him into a ranged AoE powerhouse that clears waves a fresh squad couldn't hold, and he stays useful for a long time.
Exusiai
S6-star / Sniper
A top single-target sniper who shreds whatever gets past your front line.
Hoshiguma
S6-star / Defender
A very tough defender who holds a lane on her own, so your early resources can go elsewhere.
Siege
A6-star / Vanguard
A vanguard who brings DP and hits hard, and gets better the further you go.

Worth keeping from other banners

Mountain
S6-star / Guard
Holds a lane alone, which frees up the rest of your squad.
Penance
A6-star / Defender
Another operator who can hold a lane by herself.
Surtr
S6-star / Guard
Deletes bosses with her third skill.
Eyjafjalla
S6-star / Caster
Bursts down groups with Arts damage from her volcano skill.

Not worth rerolling for

The beginner banner's other two 6-stars, Nightingale and Shining, are healers rather than carries, so they won't speed up your early game the same way.

How to reroll

1Register a Yostar account with a salted Gmail address ([email protected]). Each number is a new account, and the login codes still reach your inbox.
2Play the tutorial stages until Headhunting unlocks, about 15 minutes if you skip the story.
3Claim your mail and the beginner missions, then pull on the beginner banner: its first 10 pulls guarantee a 6-star from SilverAsh, Exusiai, Siege, Hoshiguma, Nightingale and Shining.
4Spend any Orundum left on the current event banner for a chance at a second 6-star.
