Manticore

Manticore is a 5-star character in Arknights. Manticore's weapon type is Scorpion tail (stinger) and class is Specialist. Faction: Sargon.

On our Arknights tier list Manticore is B tier, 85th of the 293 characters ranked, from where 13 current tier lists put Manticore.

Manticore hits every enemy in her attack range and dodges half of incoming physical and Arts attacks, all while her block count of zero keeps melee enemies from ever targeting her in the first place. Hidden Killer hides her from attacks entirely when she's not actively fighting, and the first hit she lands out of that stealth does bonus damage, while Scorpion Venom slows everything she touches.

Toxic Overload adds a stun on top of that slow, but it comes with a slower attack rate, so it trades some of her own offense for more consistent crowd control.

Sorry, I had to leave half an hour early today to see a doctor.

As the only known representative of her eponymous race in Rhodes Island, the enigmatic girl from Sargon codenamed "Manticore" has a very vague background.

All the available information suggests that she was a former assassin of a certain Padishah who was abandoned by her master.

Nevertheless, the assassin had been wandering around Sargon's vast desert and encountered many people, including Elliot Glover the "Sand Soldier" of Ibut who took her into his village.

Manticore coincidentally hid herself in an R.

I. aircraft, and she was accidentally found by Stormeye.

As a matter of fact, R. I. took her under their wing to provide her a permanent home.

Thanks to her training as an assassin, she is skilled in covert operations which includes infiltration and ambushes, allowing her to eliminate anyone with the sting on her venomous scorpion-like tail.

However, she has an extremely cautious and shy attitude, making her hard to communicate with R.
