On our Arknights tier list Shamare is A tier, 56th of the 293 characters ranked, from where 13 current tier lists put Shamare.

Shamare's talent applies Fragile to any enemy in her unusually long range once their HP drops under 40%, setting up easy kills for the rest of the squad. Malediction permanently buffs her ATK and makes that Fragile debuff even stronger over time, while Cursed Dolls can be dropped almost anywhere to weaken the ATK and DEF of everything nearby, without counting toward the deployment limit.

She's an A on our list, held back only by lower ATK than other Supporters and Cursed Dolls that self-destruct fairly quickly and lose effectiveness against already-weak enemies.

Her codename is portmanteau of shaman and the Italian word amare, meaning "to love."

Her doll's name, Morti, is a derivation of the Italian word morte which means "death."

The cursed island where Shamare once lived is possibly a reference to the Italian island of Poveglia.

The island was once used as a quarantine station and a mental hospital.

At 138 cm tall, Shamare is the third shortest character in Arknights before Shaw.

Upon scrutiny, Shamare's outfit design is one of the most revealing, but also the least-obvious.

There is an island in western Siracusa reputed to be a haunted, cursed place linked to many supernatural phenomenon.

With their rational minds, Rhodes Island did not believe in such rumours and launched an investigation on the the island.

It turned out the place was filled with large amount of active Originium, and the island's supernatural phenomenon was, in fact, the byproduct of a powerful Originium Arts subconsciously casted by the island's resident, a little Vulpo girl named Shamare, through a seemingly animate doll nicknamed "Morti".

Taken into R.I. to understand her unique case of Oripathy, Shamare gives off a creepy impression due to her apparent schizophrenia and the supernatural phenomenon that frequently occurs around her.

Little Terror: Shamare uses fear as a means to protect herself, and treats Morte as her only companion.
