Is Abigail (Frigga) good?
Abigail plays defense first but still puts out real damage with Thorny Brambles, which has a shot at putting a single target to sleep. Rose Blessing clears her own debuffs and hands the team Defense Up and a Shield, while Queen's Gift boosts one ally's energy and buffs the whole squad's attack and crit damage, reviving that ally first if they've already fallen.
That well-rounded mix of healing, buffing and a revive option is why she rates A.
Strengths
- deals real damage despite being defense-focused
- Thorny Brambles can inflict Sleep
- Rose Blessing clears her debuffs and shields the team
- Queen's Gift buffs the whole team and can revive a fallen ally

Background
Abigail: She, with Frigga's power, is the queen of the snowfields.
Born into House Saunbert, with the powers of Frigga, Abigail is an ambitious woman who acts of her own accord.
As the mayor of Utgard, she quickly became the most powerful woman on Grandis by selling Nexus Crystals and arms.
Rule of the Rose: Abigail has been called many names,
Mistress of the City that Never Sleeps, Rose of the Snowfield,
fiercely ambitious politician.
She couldn't care what people call her.
Roses, power, money...
she wishes to impose her own Order of the Rose.
Career 1 / Well-Respected Mayor: At the Utgard Annual Ball, a petite lady in a extravagant dress of roses and thorns is surrounded by an adoring crowd.
“Mayor Abigail, congratulations on winning the election,” several guests call out to her.
Abigail nods slightly and raise her glass to the guests who have been waiting to get her attention.
As the head of House Saunbert, Abigail has gotten used to such situations.
Be it the obvious flattery or the whispered gossip behind her back, Abigail has always managed to keep her composure.
Power often comes with responsibility. As the mayor of Utgard, Abigail doesn’t allow the words of other people sway her decisions.
After a tough day of dealing with official business, Abigail sometimes drops by her favorite club to relax for a bit.
When she sways her body to the beat, she’s like a beautiful rose on the snowfields, blooming in the moonlight.
Career 2 / A Shrewd Businesswoman: As the saying goes, “Know the enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles you will never be in peril”.
Abigail understands this truth. She never makes a bad deal or goes to a fight unprepared.
In every business negotiation, no matter how tough the other side is, Abigail can always spot loopholes in their strategy and use them for leverage.
Needless to say, she always finds out all the cards in her opponent's hand ahead of time.
"It's a pleasure to work with you, Miss Abigail."
As she shakes her opponent’s hand, she always wears her winning smile.
She enjoys the thrill of every business deal and every tense negotiation.
One contract after another, Abigail’s wealth has steadily grown.
It's hard to imagine that this woman at the top of her game once suffered because of unfortunate circumstances.
Career 3: Her Ambition Keeps Her Moving Abigail had once lost herself, indulging in every pleasure imaginable.
It was only the persuasion of her cousin, Narmer, that got her back on the right path.
With his advice, Abigail stopped using her family’s influence to get ahead.
Instead, she decided to succeed on her own.
When the Nexus Crystals were first discovered, Abigail immediately learned of their value.
She spread false rumors about the crystals to lower their cost and then bought as many as she could get her hands on.
Soon, she became one of the richest people on the continent.
House Saunbert had suffered a great deal under the impact of the Miracles.
With Narmer's help, Abigail led her family back to glory.
But as ambitious as Abigail was, she was never content with her accomplishments.
She set her sights on Utgard itself.
From supporting the entertainment industry to investing in the development and production of Nexus Crystal weapons, Abigail's influence and power kept expanding.
Abigail solidified her foothold in Utgard and became the biggest arms dealer in Grandis.
Career 4: Utgard Is An Oasis For People As the Miracles changed the landscape of the world, Abigail managed to find opportunities during this crisis.
In this age fraught with peril, Abigail realized that people needed to find an outlet for their stress and anxieties.
By supporting the entertainment industry in Utgard, she managed to bring the city back to life.
She also used her connections in the weapons business to improve the defense of the city.
The victory during the Siege of Utgard was proof that her efforts were well placed.
With its thriving entertainment industry and impenetrable city defenses, Utgard has become a paradise in Grandis.
It is now known as “The City That Never Sleeps”.
It was due to Mayor Abigail that the city has become what it is today.
Under her leadership and guidance, Utgard will only continue to flourish.
GYRATE: Evening Sounds (Exterior)
Gatekeeper
The commanding voice of the “Evening Sounds” bouncer can be heard clearly even in these bustling streets.
It’s late. Evening Sounds is lit up with neon colors for the fantasy-themed event.
The visitors all wear formal suits and gowns, dress shoes and high-heels.
Abigail arrives. The young and sweet-looking girl seems somehow quite out of place.
ABIGAIL: You’re rude… speaking to a guest like that.
Abigail. Frigga. Mayor of Utgard
Abigail is not happy with the bouncer, who has blocked her entry with an arm.
GATEKEEPER: Sorry. You’re not allowed.
ABIGAIL
GATEKEEPER: Check the, uh, notice on the door.
ABIGAIL: …No minors.
Yes. I’m well aware of that.
GATEKEEPER: Where are your parents, kid?
You should have them pick you up.
Abigail suppressher anger once again as she pulls out an ID card from a classy handbag and shows it to the bouncer.
The bouncer’s surprised face turns serious as he glances through the name and details.
GATEKEEPER: I should’ve expected you'd pull something like this.
I take it you’re prepared for the legal consequences?
Pulled this trick a few times, have you?
You’re not 35. Girl, you know that falsifying an ID card is a crime, right?!
Abigail takes a deep breath and calms the rising anger within.
ABIGAIL: Fine. I’ll phone your manager then.
Hi. Celine? I’m phoning you because I have a misunderstanding with a bouncer out front.
He’s stopping me from entering.
…Okay. Thank you.
A few moments later, Celine rushes out of Evening Sounds, her high-heels clunking noisily on the floor.
CELINE: I’m terribly sorry! Miss Abigail!
Celine. Siren. Owner of Evening Sounds
CELINE: He’s new here and not familiar with some of our clientele.
We do apologize!
The shocked bouncer only realizes his mistake in Celine’s glaring expression.
GATEKEEPER: I’m so sorry. I, uh, didn't mean to…
ABIGAIL: It’s okay. Just doing your job.
Some of us look different on TV to what you expect.
I’d hate to be a complete unknown… I am the “mayor” of this own, after all…
The embarrassed guard gives an awkward smile and nods.
CELINE: Miss Abigail! Please, come in!
I’ll make sure you have a good time tonight!
The guard bows obsequiously and steps aside for Abigail and Celine.
CELINE: I’m so sorry about all that.
A very high-end restaurant just opened around the corner.
How about I treat you tomorrow night?
ABIGAIL: Sure. Sounds Nice. Thanks.
The next evening…
GYRATE
Abigail takes one last bit of her dessert before placing her silver spoon down with great satisfaction.
She wipes the corner of her mouth with a napkin.
CELINE: Allow me to apologize again for that misunderstanding last night, Miss Abigail.
ABIGAIL: Don’t worry about it. I don’t take these sorts of things seriously.
Let it go.
The restaurant manager approaches the pair as they are about to depart.
MANAGER: We appreciate your support, especially in our first week of opening!
…We’ve prepared some gifts for our first-ever customers.
First, fine coffee beans from Woodsville.
…And a box of sweets for your daughter.
Abigail falls silent as she watches the manager hand over a metallic box covered in cartoons.
MANAGER: I do hope you’ll like them!
Three days later…
UTGARD
ABIGAIL: You’re being very weird. Why do you keep staring at me?
ALEXA: There’s something different about you today…
Alexa. Aphrodite. Master of the Golden City
ALEXA: Is it your makeup? You look… more mature somehow.
Older.
ABIGAIL: I’ve always been a very mature person.
ALEXA: ......
Oh, I know! It’s the shoes isn’t it? On that rack?
I’ve never seen them before.
Abigail’s luxurious shoe rack is currently filled with newish high heels decorated with studs.
ALEXA: Where are the cute flats with bow-knots?
ABIGAIL: …Threw them away. They look childish.

A Taste of Childhood
ALEXA: Hello busy “Miss Mayor”. So, did you want to get something to eat?
ABIGAIL: Hmmm… Anywhere you’d recommend?
ABIGAIL: First, nothing recommended by the Internet.
ALEXA
ABIGAIL: I refuse to try any restaurants scamming foolish netizens and online guide users.
They’re all image, no substance.
Alexa is intrigued by the novel approach.
She waits for Abigail to explain further, who sighs and continues
ABIGAIL: Well, last week I finally gave in to my curiosity and tried the top-recommended restaurant on Gulp.
The food looked great, sure but the taste?
It was… well… questionable, to say the least.
Worst of all, I was photobombed by some paparazzi wannabe who posted pictures of me eating there online.
Annoyed, Abigail realises from Alexa’s expression that she’s already seen it.
ABIGAIL: You’ve seen the image, haven't you?
“Breaking news! Even the lady of House Saunbert has horrible taste!”
...Ridiculous!
Abigail gives Alexa a frustrated glare. Alexa wipes the smile off her face and leans in.
ALEXA: Don’t worry about whatever the paparazzi say.
I think it just proves how approachable you are!
Anyway, I wasn’t going to take you to any of those silly restaurants.
I’m taking you for some real food--what I used to eat.
It really brings me back to when I was a kid.
So… are you coming, please?
Alexa takes Abigail to a shabby-looking stall.
The stall chef has some very basic cooking tools.
He places a couple of large pieces of flatbread on one side and a collection of sauces on the other.
PUB OWNER: Oh? Alexa? Good to see you again.
The usual?
ALEXA: Yep, but double the cheese and some extra salad dressing too, please.
PUB OWNER
Alexa looks pretty happy with her order.
Abigail carefully leans in to observe the owner-chef at work.
Abigail eventually selects the very same wrap.
She still has her doubts, but Alexa's enthusiasm convinces Abigail to take a few bites.
ALEXA: W-what! You devoured the whole wrap?!
That’s not like you…
ABIGAIL: ...Ahem… Pardon my manners.
ALEXA: Well, I wasn't kidding, eh? It’s really, really good!
ABIGAIL: It’s interesting. Unique. Yeah.
Very yummy.
Stewed meat, a fresh wrap, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt.
The stringy cheese enriches the texture.
The tomato sauce adds a bit of extra zing…
I just never thought… It’d be in a stall like that…
Take me there next time, will you? I want to try his other flavors.
ALEXA: I wish I could… But his stall is closing down soon.
The ShrimpWay Group’s expanding like crazy all over Utgard.
They’ve [^been] driving out all the stalls and mom ‘n’ pop shops like his.
These traditional snacks will be gone one day.
Forever…
Alexa Smiles, but Abigail can sense she's quite sad about it.
Two Days Later
Abigail’s phone rings. She stops working to take the call.
ALEXA (COMMUNICATOR): Abigail. I was just reading some forums… on the internet…
I don’t quite know why, but, for some reason, there's more stuff about you on the forums.
About eating street food…
Do you want me to do something? File a complaint?
ALEXA (COMMUNICATOR)
Abigail skims through the various threads containing her name.
Some have funny, exaggerated titles like “Mayor of Utgard Found Eating Local Street Food” and “Favorite Foods For Famous Saunbert”.
She smiles.
