Career 1: Djoser's special diets help him maintain his amazing physique.

Anyone who catches a glimpse of Djoser's extremely broad shoulders and massive biceps instantly realizes that he's not someone to be messed with.

Never mind that fact that he wields a pair of blazing red axes.

You may ask, how can one obtain such a body?

Djoser will tell you that there's no great secret: three healthy meals a day is all it takes.

In addition to his "normal" exercise routine, he calculates his calories obsessively.

His daily diet consists of a bowl of quinoa rice, three servings of chicken breast, and two plates of broccoli.

Later in the day he takes vitamin supplements and has a bowl of cherry tomatoes.

It's basically everything a growing body needs.

You might well think that his meals don't seem particularly appetizing, you might be right, but Djoser understands how to prepare and season his dishes so that he has different flavor every day.

That way, he never gets bored.

Career 2: Even though Djoser is one of the toughest Espers out there, he still grieves for his family.

Djoser is one of the most trusted and most powerful Espers in the Shadow Decree.

If he comes to reinforce his squad on the battlefield, their morale gets an instant boost.

Shadow Decree newbies are often assigned to work with Djoser.

Both rookies and seasoned veteran Espers alike, are always relieved to learn that he will be leading their missions.

Djoser's manly escapades are often punctuated by long periods of lonely introspection.

When he's in one of these moods, any passersby can catch a glimpse of him clutching two faded photographs.

Djoser doesn't talk about it, and his Decree brothers know better than to ask...

everyone knows that these two photos are all that he has left of his wife and daughter.

Career 3: Djoser joined Shadow Decree in a desperate bid to save his daughter's life.

Djoser was an orphan who spent his entire life feeling lost and alone.

That was until he fell in love with his wife, with whom he had a beautiful daughter.

He finally understood the meaning of having a family.

His life felt complete, and he vowed to protect his family at all costs.

Unfortunately for him, fate had other plans.

Tragically, his wife died soon after the birth of their daughter.

He was so distraught that he was transformed in an Esper.

His daughter became the one bright spot in his life, and he adored her, but she fell victim to a dreadful sickness.

He was pushed to the edge, and in his desperation, he joined the Shadow Decree to find the means to save his baby girl.

Career 4: His fastidious meal regimen is also partially a reflection of, or ritual observance toward, his departed family members.

With the assistance of the Shadow Decree, Djoser tried everything he could to save his daughter.

This time, fate was merciless. In the end, he had to say goodbye to his beautiful little girl.

He was well and truly alone. Whatever kindness his daughter had brought out of him was extinguished, and he became a raging god of war.

He directed all of his wrath and anger at Esper Union and became one of the most wanted men in Grandis.

They say old habits die hard.

The reason why Djoser always prepares so much food every day is because he used to cook for his family.

Continuing with these rituals allowed Djoser to move forward in his life.

While most people see him as an unstoppable juggernaut, he is really just a man who longs for his family.
