Elliot is hiding again.

With the powers of Thoth, the God of Wisdom, Elliot is best-suited to be the director of the library.

As he’s not interested in dealing with others, the library is the perfect refuge for him.

He feels the safest when he's surrounded by books.

It's as if he's sailing an ocean of knowledge and free from being disturbed by anyone.

Regulars at the library are used to seeing this silent man walking around.

No formal greeting is ever needed. There is a self-service and self-check-out system in place.

However, accidents sometimes do happen. When a book falls from one’s grasp, a pair of gloved hands would suddenly appear, catching the book and returning it to its owner.

Even before thanks could be given, the shy librarian would vanished behind the shelves.

Career 2: Fears his words might hurt others Elliot often buries his head in books, doing all he can to avoid eye contact.

During conversations, he prefers to write his thoughts out on paper.

He does not know how to communicate with people and tries to organize his words as carefully as possible.

He has been cautious and timid around others ever since he was a child.

His parents were never home, and they rarely accompanied Elliot in his youth.

All Elliot can remember of them is constantly seeing them leave with their suitcases.

Elliot was also bullied terribly by mean kids at school.

To escape the torment of their merciless mockery, Elliot would often hide behind books and the walls of libraries.

Career 4 / Tries to make a change: On the Union’s training ground, Elliot commands the golden paper cranes and scrolls which fly throughout the air.

The Shadow Decree’s invasion may have been stopped for now, but he’ll never let his guard down.

To protect the legacy of knowledge, Elliot is learning to better control his powers in battle.

That way he is always ready to face the next crisis.

He remains silent while training. One might think Elliot hasn’t changed at all, but Ye Suhua knows differently.

The prodigy who once kept himself away is slowly stepping out of his comfort zone, ready to embrace the world.

When visitors come to the library, Elliot now voluntarily asks if they need any help, providing guidance when necessary.

He might still shun eye contact and easily blushes during conversation, but the sincere gratitude of those who visit gives Elliot the warmth he needs to continue.
