She shows no expression on her face, but the scars are enough to reveal her authority.

With the powers of Ymir coursing through her, Embla is like an empty shell without a soul.

Her transformation has killed her personality, cutting off her ability to feel emotions, and making her increasingly indifferent to the things around her.

Her lack of feelings has led Embla to indulge in slaughter and sabotage.

Only the most extreme actions give her the slightest pleasure, stirring her long-dead mind and making her feel alive again.

Career 2: Embla refuses to become that terrifying vision.

Back in 2012, Embla saw her future.

Born into an educated family in Geran, Embla lived up to the expectations of her parents, becoming an outstanding researcher.

She was invited to join the research team exploring Primordial Island by Narmer, where she encountered the dark side of her soul upon touching the Primordial Nexus - a woman soaked in bloodshed.

After surviving the incident, Embla awakened with the powers of Ymir.

She joined the other six survivors in their quest to repel the Miramon's invasion.

Gentle and introverted, the fear of battle still lingers in her heart, as she can never forget the terrifying image of her blood-soaked self.

Is this the person she truly is inside?

Embla dreads the thought.

Career 3: Embla leaves her hopes with the one she loves and walks into a predestined future, alone.

With every use of her divine powers, Embla has gradually become more and more forgetful.

There are times when she even forgets things that have just occurred.

Once gentle and warm-hearted, she's now possessed with a fierce desire to fulfill her duties.

The Union has received dozens of complaints against Embla for her disruptive actions.

Embla dreads the thought of her horrible vision and decides to listen to Hyde and Feng Nuxi's suggestion.

She will stop using her powers and return to her former life as a researcher, studying artificial Espers.

Yet when another crisis arises, Embla must make a choice.

She's already had a life more wonderful than she could have ever imagined, so why not leave the future to the man she loves?

As her blade strikes her opponent, Embla vanquishes not only her foe but her former self as well.

Career 4: Is her former self still there?

In order to appease her desire for destruction, Embla accepted Hyde's invitation to join the Shadow Decree, becoming their most vicious and merciless fighting machine.

Unconcerned with the opinions of others and ignorant of social norms, Embla is unresponsive to Fu Shi's attempts to recover her former self.

All she wants is to immerse herself in acts of brutality.

Despite her memory problems, Embla's craving for milk and dairy products remains intact.

She also feels an inexplicable trust in Fu Shi, and truly only sleeps well at his side.

Perhaps the former Embla lies dormant deep within, waiting to be awakened...
