Its owner, Sakura, was an elegant, demure lady who possessed the divine power of Konohanasakuya-hime.

As a florist, Sakura enjoyed creating floral arrangements in the tranquility of her garden.

Countless sakura, trimmed and shaped by her hands, were frozen in their most beautiful moment.

"The beauty of sakura is fleeting. What I'm doing is make this beauty eternal."

Sakura put aside stale floral stems and placed fresh, vibrant new ones in a vase.

A beautiful lady and sakura—what a pleasing sight to behold.

Career 2 / Garden and dirt.: Sakura's absolute pursuit of perfection had been instilled at a young age by her mother, who subjected her to a strict upbringing.

Her mother designed various lessons for her, only to leave her one day without even a goodbye.

For her mother's departure, Sakura blamed her own imperfection and her failure to take good care of Sakura Grove.

She believed that when she finally attained "perfection", her mother would return.

One day by chance, Sakura discovered that her garden could be nourished by the life force of living humans… Since then, the flowers in Sakura Grove grew lusher and Sakura became more beautiful by the day.

People have started going missing in the Graywater Plains.

No one knew that the missing people had in fact been put in a slumber beneath Sakura Grove—Sakura had transformed her admiration and obsession for her mother into sakura trees that were feeding on living people.

Career 3: Sakura Grove burnt to the ground.

As a growing number of people were going missing in the Graywater Plains, Sakura's mother returned to the manor.

After finding out that Sakura was the culprit who had abducted the missing people, she objected to her actions and tried to persuade her to stop.

Seeing the expression of disgust on her mother's face, it finally dawned on Sakura that no matter how hard she tried, she would never earn her mother's love.

In an instant, her world crumbled.

Upset and unhinged, Sakura no longer recognized the old, wrinkled lady before her as her mother.

She lit a fire in the garden, letting it engulf her mother and Garden Grove.

Career 4 / An eternal bloom.: Amid the blaze, Sakura's mother became "the mother" who was youthful, perfect, and loved her forever.

Watching this all-consuming fire, Sakura grinned.

Her Grove Garden and her mother would forever be frozen in their most perfect moment.

After Grove Garden was burnt to the ground, Sakura remained in the manor.

Her pursuit of perfection grew more extreme by the day, where she would go to any lengths to procure human life force and keep her sakura trees in eternal bloom.

Even though all things must come to an end, Sakura was determined to preserve her perfection in perpetuity.

This time around, she would be the sakura that never dies.
