Profile
Tetsuya (Akuru) is a male Esper. His birthday is June 23rd, 2000, and he stands 200cm tall.
Background
Tetsuya: A priest wielding the power of Akuru, forever bound to the Papaya Islands he protects.
Divinate
Kagura Dance: The silent priest dances alone in the sea breeze to a melody of old.
What were once clumsy steps are now deeply ingrained in his soul.
"May the mighty Sea God bless the Papaya Islands with eternal life and lasting prosperity."
The guardian's prayer shall one day be answered.
Career 1: Life of the Stone-Faced Priest.
No one would guess that the quiet, stern priest enjoys having grilled squid while watching TV at home.
Tetsuya sometimes rides his motorcycle along the coast, letting the sound of the waves calm his mind.
Ryota sometimes passes by "coincidentally", but Tetsuya often keeps his distance.
Unlike his popular neighbor, Tetsuya does not wish to be the center of attention.
These quiet and leisurely moments make up the daily life of the stone-faced priest.
Career 2: Gentleness Beyond Violence. As Papaya's resident priest, Tetsuya not only utilizes his divine power to repel Miramon but also attends to daily chores, such as cracking coconuts for children and visiting elderly residents in nursing homes.
Tetsuya once viewed these tasks as a waste of time, but he now understands that being a protector means more than just exerting brute force.
Sometimes, what people need is not help but companionship—children long for a playmate, and the elderly need someone who will sit there quietly and listen to their stories.
Kagura, his sister, taught his this gentle way of protecting others.
But that girl who always smiled with strength is no longer around.
Career 3 / His Sister's Last Wish.: Tetsuya will never forget what happened at the Sea God Rite.
Miramon attacked the altar, taking Kagura and his father from Tetsuya.
A grieving Ryota invited Tetsuya to leave the Papaya Islands together, but the latter firmly rejected the proposal.
"I must protect the islands and our home."
His last promise to Kagura became his obsession.
As the islanders left one by one, Tetsuya soon became the sole resident.
His will to protect his home remained resolute.
He never gave up on looking for his family, no matter how slim the chance.
Unable to accept his loss, Tetsuya dwelt alone among the ruins of memory.
Career 4: A Guardian Through and Through.
Ten years later, Ryota received a mysterious letter—it mentions a clue to the Relics of the Sea God, signed by none other than Kagura.
Tetsuya followed the clue and joined forces with Ryota to defeat the Miramon near the coast of the Papaya Islands, clearing a vital path.
Perhaps this is all part of the Sea God's designs.
Ryota ultimately changed his mind, staying with Tetsuya to help rebuild the Papaya Islands.
Looking at the ever-smiling Ryota, Tetsuya feels as if everything is the same and yet completely different.
No matter what happens in the future, the quiet, stubborn guardian shall continue watching over the islands.
