He cherishes these bonding moments with his daughter.

Yi An has studied herbal medicine since childhood.

Despite his hemophobia, he remains committed to caring for his daughter and his colleagues.

Career 2 / Newfound Family.: Yi An was born into a prominent family in Tangton and struggled to adapt to life in the Sunrise Isles when he first moved there.

Thanks to a couple who ran a nearby convenience store, he was able to settle into his new life.

Unfortunately, fate showed him little mercy.

During the Subject #24 rampage on Sunrise Isles, Yi An saw the convenience store couple at the scene.

Rather than escorting them to safety, he chose to prioritize his mission.

By the time he completed his mission, he learned that the couple had been attacked by Miramon.

Yi An was consumed with guilt, blaming himself for the couple's death.

The couple left behind a daughter named Chang Pu, and Yi A raised her as his own, caring for her devotedly in an effort to atone for his mistake.

Career 3 / Rising From Fear.: Yi An told Chang Pu they weren't biologically related when she got older.

Chang Pu didn't mind it at all, and they remained as close as ever.

After the rampage incident, Yi An's hemophobia worsened significantly.

He rarely went on field assignments, confining his work to logistics and headquarters.

When Miracle 13 occurred, Miramon attacked the greenhouse where Yi An and Chang Pu were working.

Chang Pu refused to evacuate to preserve Yi An's research, and the two of them ended up trapped inside.

Yi An fought desperately against the ferocious Miramon.

Blood gushed from his wounds, but he seemed to feel no pain, as his only concern was Chang Pu's safety.

At that critical moment, Chang Pu completed her Transformation, and the two of them managed to escape unharmed.

Career 4 / Living in the Present.: After the Shackled Miracle, Yi An seemed to have finally overcome his hemophobia.

He began going on field missions. During his downtime, he often talked about Chang Pu with his colleagues, his face glowing with pride and joy.

It was then that Yi A realized he wasn't caring for Chang Pu out of guilt, but out of his own desire for happiness.
