Norton

Norton, also known as Ronald Tang or "Lao Tang" is a first-generation dragon.

Together with his twin brother Constantine, they conform the Elemental Dragon King of Bronze and Fire.

Biography

Ancient times

Norton and his brother Constantine were created by Nidhogg after the defeat of Izanami, as one of the four Elemental Kings.

Norton was weak but intelligent, while Constantine was strong but cowardly.

The pair formed part of the alliance that defeated Nidhogg.

Norton was the most brutal and cruel of the four Dragon Kings, and known to be very strict with Constantine, however, he cared for him and loved him immensely.

His aggressiveness made him the most worthy of the title of "Son of the Black Emperor".

The brothers lived in Europe, where they left their mark on Nordic mythology before moving to China, Norton took the name of Wang Mang, and Constantine changed his name to Liu Xiang.

They gained the trust of Gongsun Shu, who had just occupied Sichuan.

Norton became his main subordinate and manipulated Constantine to become his puppet emperor.

They built the alchemical bronze city of Baidicheng in the Yangtze River and kept dragons in it.

Among them was a colossal specimen named Samson.

Norton created a set of alchemic swords called The Seven Deadly Sins, capable of killing the other elemental kings, and it was guessed by Anjou that he planned to use them against Constantine one day so he could eat him and gain his power.

Twelve years later, they were attacked by Liu Xiu and the Secret Party.

Constantine begged his brother to devour him so he could survive the attack, but Norton refused.

When a user of the Candle Dragon Yanling destroyed the city, Norton and Constantine hid in a copper vase and hibernated there as embryos until the day of their imminent resurrection.

The city of bronze sunk in the river.

Awakening and new life

Norton emerged almost a century earlier than Constantine.

He couldn't remember his life as a dragon and drifted to the United States, where he was adopted by a family and named Ronald Tang.

He dropped out of high school and lived in a poor area of Brooklyn.

As a Dragon King, Ronald was immune to the effects of basic Yanling and he became a famous mercenary, working for different Hybrid organizations, but he gave most of his money to the orphanage where he grew up, so he was often penniless.

He enjoyed playing Starcraft and became online friends with a Chinese national named Lu Mingfei.

Mingfei called Ronald for English pronunciation advice since he was preparing for his Cassell College interview.

Infiltrating Cassell

Months later, he was contacted by Su Enxi on behalf of Lu Mingze.

Tang became part of a mercenary team hired to infiltrate Cassell College and steal a copper vase recovered from the Yangtze river.

This was part of an elaborate plan devised by Lu Mingze to awaken Ronald's memories of his life as a dragon.

He was promised 5 million dollars to complete his assignment.

Ronald was provided with a black card that granted him full access to the Ice Cellar and authority over EVA, whose beauty left Ronald perplexed.

He attempted to steal the vase by disguising himself as a scientist, but he saw Constantine through a crack in the vase and was terrified by the creature.

Constantine called to him, and Ronald escaped the cellar, disregarding his mission.

He stole Caesar's bike and reached the outskirts of the College, almost hitting Lu Mingfei and Nono on the road.

The pair was happy to meet one another in person, but Constantine interrupted them by running towards them.

Deciding to hide in the school, they met Finger, who proposed hiding in the Olympic pool to counter Constantine's fire.

However, the creature chose to enter the pool and start boiling the water, forcing everyone to get out.

Constantine was mortally wounded by Lu Mingfei and Anjou, but he reached Ronald right before dying and restored his memories.

Ronald's personality disappeared, overwhelmed by Norton's consciousness.

Norton was rabid over his brother's death and escaped to the Yangtze River, where he was welcomed by Samson.

Last stand and death

Two months later, Norton detected the Maniakh, a ship sent by Cassell College to slay him.

Samson hit the ship to damage the torpedo designed to kill Norton, who climbed on top of Samson and started merging with it.

This fusion gave him the strength that he needed for the fight, but limited his potential, since such unions reduced the purity of his dragon blood.

Caesar Gattuso stepped out of the captain's cabin blindfolded and shot Norton to keep him in front of the ship while Zero launched the torpedo as an air missile, heavily wounding the dragon lord.

Still alive, he found Lu Mingfei and Nono swimming away from the ruins of Baidicheng and he stabbed Nono with his tail.

A desperate Lu Mingfei made a deal with Lu Mingze, giving away the right to one-quarter of his life in exchange for saving Nono's life, using the Kamaitachi Yanling, and access to one sword of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Norton attacked Mingfei, allowing his old friend to stab him in the back with one of his own swords.

Nearly dead, Norton started heating up the water of the whole river and rose up to the surface, only to get immediately shot in the head with a Philosopher's stone bullet by Sakatoku Mai, resulting in his definitive death.

Skeleton

Norton's bones were found by the Secret party and put under the protection of the Gattuso Family.

The skeleton was hidden in an underground vault in Rome, where it was later stolen and consumed by Odin.
