Susie

Susie (苏茜) was a Cassell College graduate and an intern of the Execution Bureau.

She majored in dragon genetics. During her time as a student she was the vice-president of the Lionheart Society and the roommate and best friend of Chen Motong.

Biography

Starting at Cassell

She was admitted to Cassell College at the age of 18.

She met a fellow freshman named Chu Zihang on the CC1000 train and quickly fell in love with him, he was oblivious to her feelings, regardless, it was rumored by many students that they had a secret relationship.

They became close friends and entered the Lionheart Society, where she became an exceptional sniper.

Zihang's secret

One day, Chu Zihang found old scrolls detailing the secret technique of Blood Rage.

She couldn't read their contents but she helped him to photocopy the scrolls and he entrusted her with the files.

Susie was eventually named Vice-president of Lionheart and Zihang became president.

She also had a close friendship with her roommate Nono, the vice-president of the Student Union.

Nono couldn't use Yanling, and some referred to her as a "semi-A rank".

Susie lied about her skill to make her feel better, saying that she couldn't use Yanling either.

As similar members of their respective clubs, they were constantly compared and displayed a fierce rivalry when they represented their teams.

Susie was popular among students and considered to be one of the hardest girls to chase in the college.

The S-Rank

During her second year, she participated in the annual Day of Liberty competition, she and Zihang were the last ones standing against Caesar and Nono.

Susie shot a distracted Nono in the back, which was witnessed by a new S-Rank student, Lu Mingfei.

The freshman didn't know about the sedative nature of their bullets and believed Nono to be genuinely dead, prompting him to shoot everyone in sight in a fit of rage, effectively winning the match.

Attack on the school

Months later, when Cassell was attacked by mercenaries, Zihang was tasked with defending the temple.

Susie was worried for him but he promised to have supper with her later that night.

When one of the intruders replicated Zihang's Royal Blaze and created a massive explosion, Susie was distressed, but Zihang survived the encounter in one piece.

Summer break

That summer, Susie and Nono visited a thermal waters spa before starting their school year, where they teased each other over Zihang and Lu Mingfei.

To their surprise, Caesar sent Nono a lengthy text message with a marriage proposal in it.

Susie was both touched and excited by the text, questioning why Nono was doubting.

Susie playfully pushed Nono into the water, which made Nono's wound ache and she almost started drowning, much to Susie's dismay.

A deal with Caesar

After Zihang was put on trial for his apparent use of Blood Rage, Susie knew that Caesar's testimony would be instrumental in clearing his name.

During their negotiation, Caesar asked for the Blood Rage files in exchange for speaking positively of Zihang, Susie agreed.

Caesar teased her for her betrayal of Zihang's trust and pushed her to get ahead of Xia Mi, who was romantically interested in Zihang as well.

Susie recommended Caesar to get a ring and make an actual marriage proposal to Nono instead.

When Nono was sent to Beijing, she stopped responding to everyone's calls and messages.

Susie called her friend and questioned her hesitance to accept Caesar's proposal, motivating her to go ahead with the wedding.

The following year, a professional photographer who documented Nono's life took a series of pictures of her friendship with Susie.

Since some of the photographs were said to "display the sexiness of youth", Nono didn't allow Mingfei to watch them and hid the album on a time capsule.

That night, Zihang was tasked along with Caesar and Mingfei to go on a mission to Tokyo.

Susie asked Zihang to bring her utensils when he came back so they could prepare Yakiniku.
