Introduction

Outsider is an Anemo character in Duet Night Abyss. Outsider's weapon type is Dual Pistols (ranged), Dual Blades (melee) and role is DPS / Weapon DMG.

Is Outsider good?

Outsider trades his own HP for bigger weapon damage, and his ultimate's Relentless Hunt state pays that risk back with an Ultra Shield, hitstun immunity, and boosts to both Attack Speed and Resolve. That makes him solid against bosses in particular, since he can keep using his equipped weapons safely inside that state.

He does need good weapon gear, especially strong Demon Wedges, to really pull his weight.

Pairs well with: Truffle; Fina.

  • Stealthy Prowl

    Skill

    Enters Stealth state and exits Relentless Hunt state. Generates 2 Fang Spikes to attack nearby enemies when exiting Stealth state or using Stealthy Prowl again in Stealth state. Stealth: When in Stealth state, Outsider cannot be detected by enemies, and taking damage will not exit Stealth. Launching attack or using Predator's Pounce will exit Stealth state.

    For each [Fang Spike] retracted, Outsider loses certain HP, which is converted into an equivalent amount of Ultra Shield, and it additionally extends the duration of [Relentless Hunt] state. When losing HP due to this effect, the minimum HP will not drop below 1. Relentless Hunt: When in [Relentless Hunt] state, Outsider is immune to Hitstun and gains weapon Attack Speed boost and Resolve boost. Outsider cannot receive Healing in this state, and any Healing received is converted into an equivalent amount of Ultra Shield. Fang for Fang

    This effect can only be triggered once per second. Fang Spike: When generated, [Fang Spike] flies toward its target, dealing Anemo Damage to enemies along the path and inflicting [Throatcutter] on them. After flying for a period of time, [Fang Spike] falls and remains on the ground. A maximum of 10 [Fang Spikes] can exist at the same time. [Throatcutter]: increases damage taken from Outsider. How to get Outsider

Free after clearing the Main Quest 'Prey VS Hunter' (30 Thoughts, part of the Voyage into the Long Night event); also via Secret Letters from Covert Commissions (10 on the Golden reward track / 2 on the Silver) or by buying Character Thoughts for 150 Phoxene Plumule in the Shop. 30 Thoughts are needed to unlock him or raise an Intron level.

Outsider's signature weapon is Exiled Fangs.
