Is Traveler (Anemo) good?

The Anemo Traveler, your starting form, uses Skill and Burst for crowd control, both absorbing an element to deal extra damage, and their Normal Attacks apply Anemo; C6 lowers enemies' elemental RES. Charging the Skill roots you in place, cooldowns are long, and the Burst misses easily with poor positioning, so this form falls behind real Anemo supports.

Strengths

  • Crowd control on Skill and Burst
  • Absorbs elements for extra damage
  • C6 shreds elemental RES

Weaknesses

  • Can't move while charging the Skill
  • Long cooldowns
