Genshin Impact reroll guide
Rerolling Genshin Impact isn't worth it for most players: each try needs a new email address and about 30 minutes of prologue before wishes unlock, and a new account only has enough for a handful of pulls. If you do it, the realistic target is a 4-star like Bennett, or a limited 5-star if one you want is on the banner when you start.
4-stars worth keeping a start for
The healer that makes Hyperbloom teams work, one of the cheapest strong teams to build.
Limited 5-stars, if their banner is up
Groups enemies and adds an elemental damage bonus for the whole team.
A main damage dealer who can carry a team on his own.
Which limited characters a new account can pull for depends on the banners running now.
Not worth rerolling for
Don't reroll for characters every account gets for free: Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Barbara, Xiangling, Noelle, Collei, Lynette, Kachina and the Traveler. The same goes for anyone who only gets good at high constellations.
How to reroll
- 1Make a HoYoverse account with a new email address. There's no guest login.
- 2Play the prologue: beat Stormterror, then enter the Knights of Favonius headquarters in Mondstadt. Wishes unlock when that scene ends, around 30 minutes in if you skip what you can.
- 3Claim everything in your mail and the event menus, and redeem any active codes for Primogems.
- 4Pull on Beginners' Wish first: 20 pulls at a discount, with Noelle guaranteed in the first 10. Spend what's left on the current character banner.
- 5No keeper? Log out at the title screen and start again with another email address.
