Is Ellie good?
Even when you're not actively controlling her, Ellie keeps contributing as an Earth Destroyer. She automatically builds Snacks stacks from certain attacks, and holding her normal attack at three stacks unleashes a much stronger hit.
Because she needs so little active time, she slots into a lot of different team comps as a damage and stagger-gauge contributor. We put her at C, useful and flexible, but not a standout on her own.

Ellie throws a hidden Snack or strikes directly with the pillow she's riding on, dealing EarthDMG. When Sugar Charge reaches 3 stacks, holding the Basic Attack button deals EarthDMG with Pillow Pow! and consumes all Sugar Charge stacks.
Sugar Charge
Ellie generates Snacks when performing certain attacks. Generated Snacks remain on the ground and slowly travel toward the current teammate after a set time. Approaching a Snack allows it to be collected. Upon collection, it restores a small amount of HP to the character, grants Ellie a Neutralization DMG Boost effect, and adds 1 stack of Sugar Charge. Sugar Charge can stack up to 3 times. At max stacks, holding the Basic Attack button triggers Pillow Pow! and consumes all stacks. If Ellie is Sleepy..., Pillow Pow! is automatically triggered upon reaching 3 stacks. Sleepy... Switching to another character during combat makes Ellie Sleepy... for a set duration. She will move slowly toward enemies and generate Snacks. Using Pillow Pow! while Sleepy... increases the duration of Sleepy....
Big Donut
Ellie summons a giant donut and rolls it toward the enemy. The donut attacks consecutively as it rolls across the ground, dealing EarthDMG. After a set number of hits, it explodes, dealing additional EarthDMG.
Snack Time
Ellie deals EarthDMG around herself and scatters Snacks hidden in her pillow.
Ultimate Sweetness
Ellie summons a giant cake and sends it hurtling to the ground, dealing EarthDMG. The cake explodes moments later, dealing additional EarthDMG and inflicting Earth Affliction. When the cake explodes, it generates and scatters Snacks.
