Hotori records her teammates' Skill casts and replays them when she uses her Ultimate, and that Ultimate runs off a countdown timer instead of energy, roughly every 20 seconds, or 30 if she uses her Skill first. That timer-based system makes her damage unusually predictable, since you always know when her burst window is coming.
Her Awakenings lean into that Time Stop window hard: Flourish adds up to 36% damage based on how many Skills she's recorded, and Time Takes Away lets her ignore a chunk of enemy DEF during it.
