Nam Chae-Young pulls the bowstring.

The arrow flies in a curved line and hits the target.

It's a success.

A hunter must always remain cool-headed and never show sympathy for their prey.

Half-hearted compassion will only cause eternal pain to the prey.

You must aim for its vital point without hesitation and end its life in one go.

Whenever she went hunting, Nam Chae-Young always remembered her father's advice.

It was the same even after experiencing an awakening.

There's a clear difference between hunting magic beasts and animals, but in the end, the essence of taking life is the same.

That's why she tried to faithfully follow her father's advice at every moment.

Even if they had a disastrous impact on society, she believed they had the right to die in peace.

There's no creature in the world that's meant to be hunted.

No matter how small and insignificant a life may be, its will to live is strong and passionate.

Dossier #02: Law of Power

Nam Chae-Young's hunt was carried out quickly and accurately, following her beliefs.

Although she herself didn't possess very strong powers, she was able to make up for what she lacked in strength with experience.

However, that was only possible when she was with her fellow hunters.

As an individual, she was just a civilian who could use a very few special abilities, like all E-Rank hunters.

And civilians were nothing more than very tasty prey to the magic beasts pouring out of the gate.

The relationship between hunter and prey can change at any time.

She realized this fact when she encountered a massive magic beast while hunting with her father for the first time in a long time.

Unlike her, the magic beast didn't show any respect for its prey, and instead trampled on its prey mercilessly.

Nam Chae-Young lost her father before her very eyes, and was deeply aware of how powerful she was.

She was reminded of her childhood... a time when she had nothing to fear as a long as she had a bow and arrow.

That day, Nam Chae-Young's regrets killed the ideals of her younger self.

Dossier #03: Rampage

With nowhere for it to go, she directed her anger at herself, but soon began to lash out at everything around her.

She was no longer a cool-headed hunter, but was like a moth to a fire who, in a fit of rage, would leap at an opponent who was too strong for her.

No magic beast was ever killed with one attack.

The magic beast that became her target would finally close its eyes after receiving repeated attacks that bordered torture.

She was nothing more than an E-Rank hunter, so she could only take on a handful of them at a time, but she always made an impact on magic beasts.

To prevent the prey from coveting the hunter's place, she fired ice arrows to pierce the wounds of the magic beasts.

Her new way of showing mercy was to give advice to her prey.

"If you don't want to end up in the same situation, stop resisting and surrender."
