Is Hilde good?

Hilde is a Sun defender whose Arcana lets her take over damage for the team, and who starts battle with Barriers on every ally. Dragon Buster gives her Immunity and Defense, and Buster Overdrive taunts whichever enemy is closest to acting. Much of her protection depends on Preemptive Guard chances. We rate her S tier.

  • Buster Overdrive

    Active · Attack · All Enemies · 5 turn cooldown

    Charges forward and bombards all enemies. Grants self Fafnir's Descent (Undispellable) for 3 turns and inflicts the enemy with the highest Action Gauge with Taunt for 1 turn with a 100% chance. Grants self 1 stack of Ignition. Barrier and damage are proportional to self Max HP.

  • Valkyrie's Will

    Unique Passive · Non-Attack

    Increases Hilde's Max HP by 15%. Increases Hilde's Preemptive Guard Chance by 30% and grants all allies (excluding self) Barrier for 1 turn at the start of the first battle. Barrier is proportional to self Max HP.
