Chaos Zero Nightmare reroll guide

Rerolling Chaos Zero Nightmare is quick: you can wipe your data from the settings without making a new account, and a basic try takes 10 to 20 minutes. It's worth it if you want a specific character or two 5-stars early, but every character can work with the right setup.

Reroll for these

  • Hugo

    S5-star / Ranger

    A sub-DPS who follows up every attack his teammate makes and adds shields, card draw and Ranger-only cards. He makes any team better.

  • Veronica

    A5-star / Ranger

    A Ranger whose cards draw up to three cards for 0 AP, which fixes teams that have no draw of their own. She's been near the top since launch.

  • Haru

    B5-star / Striker

    Buffed in every seasonal balance patch, she now out-damages most main damage dealers.

Which limited characters a new account can pull for depends on the banners running now.

Not worth rerolling for

Khalipe was a top pick at launch, but her damage numbers are low next to newer characters.

How to reroll

  1. 1Log in with any account and play the prologue, skipping the story. You can reset your data in game, so you don't need a guest account.
  2. 2Finish the gacha tutorial (a guaranteed 4-star, Tressa) and the Chaos Manifestation tutorial, which you can fast-forward.
  3. 3Claim your mail and spend all your Rescue Anchors on the Special Request Rescue banner, which guarantees a 5-star within 50 pulls.
  4. 4Clear the first three battle missions and spend the crystals on the current limited banner.
  5. 5For about 20 more limited pulls, push to Captain Level 10 through the Growth Guide (30 to 40 minutes in total).
  6. 6Not happy? Open the menu, then Settings, the account icon and Reset Server. Your data is wiped and you start again.
