Is Su Yi good?

Su Yi flies across the map quickly and clears groups of enemies with strong AoE attacks, which makes her a solid pick for commission content in particular. Intron 2 adds independent projectile hits that supplement her main damage.

Her Sword Aflash swings deal huge numbers but come out slowly, and she needs her Introns unlocked to really reach her ceiling.

Pairs well with: Fina; Fushu.

Su Yi has carefully preserved her aunt's research notes, poring over them time and again.

But to Su Yi, the most precious keepsake of all is her name.

At the entrance to Outer Peaks, Su Yi was introducing herself to the outer Drifters when Yan Shanting heard the unfamiliar name and gave her a surprised look.

  • Sunward

    Skill

    Enters [Sunward], gaining high-speed flight and dealing Lumino DMG to enemies along the path. This state continuously drains [Artificer Energy] and ends when [Artificer Energy] reaches 0 or when the skill is recast. Hold the jump button to enter [Heavenbound], enabling vertical flight. This state continuously drains [Artificer Energy] and ends when [Artificer Energy] reaches 0 or when the jump button is released. [Artificer Energy] regenerates continuously while neither [Sunward] nor [Heavenbound] is active.

  • Starfall Mode

    Ultimate

    Activates [Starfall Mode] by consuming all Sanity with Fengshi Type Ill. Gain 1 stack of [Soar] for every 40 Sanity consumed, up to 10 stacks. Gain [Artificer Powder] based on the maximum ammo capacity of the equipped ranged weapon, up to 300 rounds. While in [Starfall Mode], weapons become unavailable, and Su Yi becomes immune to Hitstun. Recasting the skill deactivates [Starfall Mode]. While in this mode, melee attacks are replaced with [Sword Aflash], and ranged attacks are replaced with [Stars Ashower]. Soar: Gains Morale Boost. Sword Aflash: Each attack consumes 5 [Artificer Powder] to unleash a massive blade of light, dealing Lumino DMG to enemies in its path. Stars Ashower: Each attack consumes 1 [Artificer Powder] to fire a projectile that deals AoE Lumino DMG on hit. When equipped with Demon Wedge [Fengshi Type III: Tracking Mode], this attack instead fires homing projectiles that seek out random enemies, dealing AoE Lumino DMG every 0.1s along their path.

  • Poised To Strike

    Passive

    Each [Artificer Powder] consumed grants 1 stack of [Momentum], lasting for the rest of the battle, up to 100 stacks. All [Momentum] stacks are removed when [Starfall Mode] ends. If 50 or more stacks are removed, a [Fengshi Model] is launched forward, dealing AOE Lumino DMG on hit. Momentum: Each stack removed restores Sanity and increases [Fengshi Model]'s DMG Boost.

  • Guarded Assault

    Passive

    Upon entering [Starfall Mode], gains an Ultra Shield based on the amount of Sanity consumed.

How to get Su Yi

Secret Letters are farmed through Nocturnal Echoes weekly bosses (claimable up to 5 times a week; opening one has a chance to drop a Thought, not guaranteed) or bought as Character Thoughts for 150 Phoxene Plumule in the Shop; Secret Letter Clues for her cannot currently be bought directly. 30 Thoughts are needed to unlock her or raise an Intron level.

Su Yi's signature weapon is Fledgling's Gleam.
