Episode 1: Prologue: The Forgotten Name
Lain and Muro's mercenary group Ash Breaker perfectly brings down a rampaging Hungry Mannequin. However, their Leader Drax hands the two a VIP invitation to NAVII, and the station's scanner was neural hacking. Mind-controlled Lain sends the hideout's coordinates, and NAVII forces rush in. Drax stands alone to block them and sends Jagear berserk to save the team. The surviving comrades brand Lain as a traitor. Lain passes through a lab and is thrown into a dump, where Ru erases his memory. A few years later, Lain wakes up in Dynamite Blue.
