Martial Artist Ken opens battle with a Dominance buff that raises both his attack and defense, and his third skill layers a team-wide defense down on top of his own attack buff, which can swing a fight hard in his favor. His skill 1 provokes the enemy onto himself, setting up the rest of his kit while keeping pressure off his team, and since every attack skill guarantees a crit, gear can skip crit rate entirely.
His counterattacks pair well with life-drain gear, letting him tank and heal at the same time, though his passive doesn't reduce damage at all, so Health and Defense both need real investment.
