Epic Seven hero progression
Levels and promotion
The EXP a level takes depends on the stars a hero starts with, not the stars they have now. Promotion needs the hero at their level cap and keeps that level. The table is the total EXP from level 1.

Level Up

As a Hero's level increases, their base stats increase. You may level up your Hero through battles or speed up the process by using Penguins. Penguins, which you can nurture in the Forest of Souls, grant a lot of EXP when used as an Enhancement ingredient. To quickly level up your Hero, use Penguins.

Hero Promotion Promoting a Hero will raise their maximum Level by 10. The maximum level of a Hero can increase up to 60, and you will need Lesser to Epic grade Spirit Blooms in order to Promote a Hero. Spirit Blooms can be acquired from the Forest of Souls in Sanctuary.
Awakening
From the second awakening on, stage N needs the hero at level 10 x N, so the sixth needs level 60. Runes are the hero's own element (Flame Runes for Fire heroes, and so on) and catalysts their class's. Awakening 3 upgrades one of the hero's skills.

Awaken

You can enhance a Hero's stats by Awakening them using Runes. The third Awakening will greatly improve one of the Hero's skills. You'll need Runes that match the Hero's element, which can be obtained from Spirit Altar. The fifth and sixth Awakenings require Catalysts. The type of Catalysts needed depends on the Hero's class.

Spirit Altar The Runes used for Hero Awakening can be acquired from the Spirit Altar found under the Battle menu.

Combining Runes Having trouble Awakening Heroes because you only have a lot of low grade Runes? Try the Rune Combine function. You can create a high grade Rune by combining 10 lower grade Runes. Remember that combining Runes costs a bit of Gold and that you may have a use for low grade Runes in the future, so use this function at your discretion.
Skill enhancement
Most skills have five enhancements, and these are their costs. A skill with more or fewer enhancements spreads a similar total over its own steps; every hero's page lists their skills' exact costs. Heroes that start at 3 stars pay Stigma where the others pay MolaGora.

Skill Enhancement

Skill Enhancement allows you to improve Heroes' skill effects. To do so, MolaGoras are required, which can be purchased from the Shop or grown in the Forest of Souls with MolaGora Seeds. High-level enhancement requires Catalysts. The types of Catalysts needed depend on the Hero's class. Skills of Heroes whose starting grade is 3★ or lower require Stigma instead of MolaGoras. Skills of Starting 4-5★ Grade Heroes can also be enhanced using Skill Points. You can obtain Skill Points by reaching certain Friendship levels with a Starting 4-5★ Grade Hero. One MolaGoraGo can be exchanged for 4 MolaGoras.

Specialty Change

You can help your Heroes reach their full potential through Specialty Change. This is available only for some Heroes. Specialty Change enhances a certain skill, and you will have to complete all of a Hero's Specialty Change Quests in order for them to complete their change. You can have Specialty Change Quests active for up to two Heroes at one time, and only Heroes who have reached level 30 or higher are eligible. When completed, their appearance will change and their third skill will be enhanced, including a new skill animation and voice lines. Once you've completed a Hero's Specialty Change, other copies of that Hero can change immediately without needing to complete the quests again.

Enhance Rune After completing a Specialty Change, you can Enhance Runes. Heroes that underwent a Specialty Change can be enhanced further in the Skill Tree, found in the Awakening menu. You may use enhanced Runes to make your Hero stronger, and Runes can increase a Hero's stats or increase the power of certain skills. Please keep in mind that enhancing Runes will unlock more options on the Skill Tree. The more you enhance Runes, the more ingredients will be required. You can also spend Skystone to reset a Hero's Skill Tree and retrieve all the ingredients you've used.
Memory Imprint and Grace of Growth
Memory Imprint

Devotion Skill increases when the same Hero is used for Memory Imprinting. Devotion Skills are initially unlocked as Imprint Release, which grants stat increases to the rest of the team, but can be changed after using an Ego Fragment to Imprint Concentration, which increases the stats of the imprinted Hero only. Once unlocked, Devotion Skill type can be freely changed from one to the other. Ego Fragments can be purchased from the Transmit Stone tab of Shop. When Memory Imprinting a Hero by using the same Hero, you will acquire Spirit Blooms based on the Grade of the Hero used as the ingredient.

Usually, the same Hero is required for Memory Imprinting. However, some special Heroes require different Ingredients. Strength of Ilryos: Required for Ras's Memory Imprint. You can acquire these from Episode and from the epilogue, "Unrecorded History." World Fragment: Required for Mercedes and Celestial Mercedes's Memory Imprints. You can acquire these from the epilogue, "Unrecorded History." Unknown Slate: Arena seasonal Item. Can be used to Memory Imprint Starting 5★ Grade Heroes. Can only be purchased once per Season.

Imprint Release and Imprint Concentration When first Imprinted, only Imprint Release is available. However, you can purchase an Ego Fragment to unlock Imprint Concentration to increase the stats of the imprinted Hero instead. Once unlocked, the Devotion Skill type can be changed freely.

Devotion Skill Grade The effect of a Devotion Skill increases along with its Rank. The maximum Devotion Skill grade is grade SSS, and the initial grade varies depending on the Hero's Starting Star Grade. Starting 3★ Heroes' Devotion Skill grade begins from grade D, Starting 4★ Heroes' Devotion Skill grade begins from grade C, and Starting 5★ Heroes' Devotion Skill grade begins from grade B. (D > C > B > A > S > SS > SSS)

Devotion Skill Positions When assigning Heroes to your team, you can check the effect of a Hero's Devotion Skill and the positions it is applied to by tapping the Devotion Skill button in the bottom-left corner. Please note that the affected positions may differ between Heroes, and the effect does not apply to the imprinted Hero when Devotion Skill type is Imprint Release.
Grace of Growth

Hero Registration In order to receive the Grace of Growth effect, you need to register a Hero. When a Hero is granted the Grace of Growth, their Level, Grade, Awakening, and Skill Enhancement can be increased in accordance with the current Stage of your Grace of Growth. Please note that when any of the current Hero's growth statuses (Level, Star Grade, Awakening, and Skill Enhancement) are higher than what's granted by the Grace of Growth, the higher grade will be applied respectfully.

Skill Enhancement Application The Skill Enhancement effects granted by Grace of Growth will be applied in descending order, Skill 3, Skill 2, Skill 1. Once Skill 3 is fully enhanced, Skill 2 will be affected next, and once Skill 2 is fully enhanced, Skill 1 will be affected. When the total quantity of the original Skill Enhancements of the Registered Hero is higher than that of what is granted by the Grace of Growth, the original Skill Enhancement status will be applied.

Grace of Growth Stages There are a total of four Stages for the Grace of Growth. When Grace of Growth is first unlocked, Stage 1 will be applied. You can progressively unlock each Stage by owning Heroes that have reached the indicated level of growth.

Hero Withdrawal When withdrawing a Registered Hero from the Grace of Growth, the Hero will return to their original growth status. Once the Hero is withdrawn, a cooldown timer will begin. The cooldown timer can be skipped by using Skystone.

Equipment

Equipment can receive additional substats through enhancement, and the total number of substats on one piece of Equipment when fully enhanced to +15 is the same regardless of item grade. Number of Substats at +0: Normal: 0 Good: 1 Rare: 2 Heroic: 3 Epic: 4

Equipment Level Every piece of Equipment has a level that cannot be increased through enhancement. Higher Equipment level means better Equipment stats, but it also means higher enhance and unequip costs.

Equipment Stats All Equipment has a main stat and substats. The main stat increases with every enhancement level, and every three levels of enhancement, either an existing substat is improved or a new substat is added. Certain types of Equipment always have the same type of main stat: Weapons have Attack, Helms have Health, and Armor has Defense. Other types of Equipment do not have a predetermined main stat: Necklaces, Rings, and Boots. However, certain stats can be main stats only on certain kinds of Equipment: Boots can have Speed, Necklaces can have Critical Hit Chance or Critical Hit Damage, and Rings can have Effectiveness or Effect Resistance.

When selling Equipment, you will acquire Equipment Powder of the minimum grade, and higher grade or level Equipment grants more Equipment Powder when sold. The highest enhancement level is +15. The main stat increases with every enhancement level, and every three levels of enhancement, either an existing substat is improved or a new substat is added.

Mana Control Enhancement Mana Control Enhancement is a special enhancement that consumes Mana Control Catalysts to proceed while excluding 1 substat. No separate Charms are consumed, and when Mana Control Enhancement is complete, the Equipment is immediately enhanced to +15. [Conditions] - +0 Enhanced Equipment - Lv. 85 or Lv. 88 Equipment - Epic or Otherworldly Epic Equipment Only Equipment meeting all the above conditions can undergo Mana Control Enhancement. [Process] - Select 1 substat when performing Mana Control Enhancement. - The selected substat is excluded from stat increases during enhancement, and the remaining substats become targets for enhancement.

Substat Modification By modifying Equipment that has been enhanced to +15, you can replace an existing substat with a new one. The Enhance button will change into the Modify button for Equipment that has been enhanced to +15. Tap the Modify button and then select a substat to replace and a material to use. The value of the new substat is dependent on the number of enhancements made to the original substat and the grade of the material being used. If the new substat is the same substat as the previous one, its new value will not be lower than the previous substat's.

Steel Workshop

Craft Equipment You can craft Hunt Equipment by using Crafting Materials collected in Hunt. Materials and Sets differ between each kind of Hunt, so make sure to check which Sets are available in each category before crafting.

Reforging Level 85 Equipment that has been enhanced to +15 can be enhanced even further. Each kind of Hunt Equipment requires different Reforging Materials, which can be obtained from Hard difficulty onwards on the relevant Hunts. Converted Equipment can also be reforged with materials that can be obtained at low drop rates from Hard difficulty onwards on all Hunts.

Equipment Reset With Enhancement Reset, you may reset the enhancement of a piece of Equipment that is at +3 or above. When resetting, the Equipment will reset to the values and stats it had upon acquisition. For reforged Equipment, the Equipment Level will also reset. Please note that all materials used (experience, gold, materials) will not be refunded. In order to use the Enhancement Reset function, you will require the respective material for either Equipment or Accessory. Each piece of Equipment will have a limited number of times it can be reset, and any Equipment that has been modified cannot be reset.

Equipment Conversion Using Equipment Conversion, you can craft Epic Equipment with the set and main stat of your choice. First, you need an Equipment Conversion Gem to determine the main stat. These can be acquired from the Shop, World Boss, or other content. All resulting Equipment is guaranteed to be Level 85 Epic Equipment; however, set is determined by the set and quantity of Equipment Cores used as ingredients. The possibility of getting Equipment of a certain set increases as you use more Equipment Cores of the same set.

Equipment Extraction You can use extraction to gain Cores for Equipment Conversion. The number of Cores you receive depends on the level and Enhancement level of the extracted Equipment, and different sets provide different Cores. You can only extract Equipment level 58 or above, and the Equipment Cores extracted can be used in Equipment Conversion.

Exclusive Equipment Exclusive Equipment can be crafted using Wisdom's Gaze or Fate's Gaze. When crafting Exclusive Equipment for Covenant Heroes and 4★ Moonlight Heroes, you can guarantee an item with a specific skill of your choice. This process requires Wisdom's Gaze Fragments, which are obtained by selling Exclusive Equipment.

Astral Forge The Astral Forge will allow our Heirs to craft a Level 85 Epic Equipment with the desired set, part, main stat, and substats. To use the Astral Forge, you will require the Astrium ore.

Change Substats At the Astral Forge, you can change the substat of the Equipment being crafted until you land on the combination you desire. Changing substats will consume Points. When you find a substat you want to keep, you can lock that substat, and when you continue to change the substats, the locked substat will be retained.

Inject Cosmonium You can use 5 Cosmonium to craft Otherworldly Epic Equipment instead of Epic Equipment. Otherworldly Epic Equipment will be given high enhancement values when enhanced.
Imprint Circuit

Summary Imprint Circuit is unlocked upon reaching Soul Rank 1. By activating the Imprint Circuit and its Nodes, you can apply Imprint Circuit Effects to a designated Hero. Upon ranking up your Soul Rank, you can obtain currency required to unlock Imprint Circuits and activate Nodes.

Activate Imprint Circuit Each Imprint Circuit has a limit on how many can be activated, and there is also a limit to the total number of Imprint Circuits you can possess. After activating an Imprint Circuit, you can activate its Nodes, and the type and amount of currency consumed may vary depending on the Node's grade. Each Circuit has a fixed number of Nodes that can be activated, and once all are activated, the Symbol Node in the center will be automatically activated.

Imprint Circuit Hero Deployment You can assign and deploy a Hero to receive the effects of an Imprint Circuit. Each Circuit has a fixed number of Heroes that can be deployed. Deploying or removing deployment of Heroes does not require any currency.

Reset Imprint Circuit You can use the Reset and Deactivate functions on all activated Nodes in the Imprint Circuit to freely activate Nodes with different effects. Upon reset or deactivation, the Imprint Currency used for the corresponding Nodes will be refunded. However, the refunded Imprint Currency is bound to that specific circuit and cannot be used in other circuits.
Classes, elements and friendship
Class

Epic Seven's Heroes have various different classes. Each of the classes generally fulfills the following roles. Knight: Protects allies from the front line. Warrior: A balanced class capable of both offense and defense. Mage: Deals powerful AoE skills from the rear, supports allies, and/or debilitates enemies. Thief: Inflicts significant damage on enemies with their high Speed. Soul Weaver: Supports allies with healing and/or buffs. Ranger: Reinforces allies and/or debilitates enemies.
Element

All Heroes and Monsters belong to one of the five elements: Fire, Ice, Earth, Light, and Dark. Each element has strengths and weaknesses, and the damage and accuracy of Skills are affected by Elemental matchups. Ice is strong against Fire, Fire is strong against Earth, and Earth is strong against Ice. Light and Dark are mutually strong against each other. It's important to keep this in mind when attacking, as these matchups largely affect the amount of damage dealt and Critical Hit Chance.
Constellation

Basic stats as well as which stats increase when Awakening vary according to a Hero's constellation.
Hero Transmission

You can return summoned Heroes to where they came from by using Transmission. In return, you'll receive Gold. If you transmit Heroes that are Starting 3★ Grade or higher, you'll also receive Silver Transmit Stones and Spirit Blooms. You can exchange Silver Transmit Stones for various items, including MolaGora, Penguins, and Charms from the Transmit Stone tab in the Shop. Please keep in mind that Heroes cannot be restored after transmission. Leftover Event Limited Heroes and their Memory Imprint ingredients can be transmitted after Devotion Skill grade SSS has been attained. When using Auto Select, Heroes matching the set conditions will be selected from those who are not equipped with Equipment and have not undergone Skill Enhancement, Level Up, Memory Imprint, or Awakening.
Friendship

Partake in content requiring currency such as Energy or Spectral Cores, fight offensive battles in Arena or Guild War, or achieve victory in World Arena to raise your Friendship levels with your Heroes. However, Friendship cannot be earned in certain content, such as Expedition where Energy requirements vary or Advent where 4 or more Heroes are deployed. By increasing Friendship, you can unlock your Heroes' unique Expressions and Voices. Reaching certain Friendship levels with Starting 4-5★ Grade Heroes will also earn you Skill Points, which you can use in place of MolaGora to enhance their skills. You will unlock Friendship Illustrations and Special Records at certain levels for some Heroes.
