He was the first Knight of the Round Table, and also served as the steward of the royal court and caretaker for the king.
He is also the person that witnessed the final moments of the king.

In this work, he is an existence "as if Bedivere did not return King Arthur's sacred sword." King Arthur died without knowing whether Bedivere had returned the sword. Out of that guilt, Bedivere's desire to finally return the sword kept him alive for centuries, until he ran out of strength in Avalon.

Due to the holy capital controlled by the Lion King and the incineration of humanity, he stands now to fight once more. While Merlin grants him, a mere knight, the power enough to stand against the Knights of the Round Table, it will eventually take his life. Yet that power is unrivaled even among the Round Table. That is, the sacred sword he failed to return.

A continuously active Noble Phantasm, it can perform an Anti-Army level attack by releasing its True Name "Dead End - Airgetlám."
Additional profile
Bedivere being registered in the Throne as a Heroic Spirit was something of a special case, perhaps because of his incredible deeds in Chapter Six. He now swears his allegiance to the Master who helped him fulfill his wish, just as he once pledged his loyalty to his king.
