Is Durin good?
Durin's whole kit is cheap and simple: the lowest DP cost of any Core Caster, single-target Arts damage, and a talent that gives her unusually high Arts dodge, which makes her surprisingly resilient against enemy casters early on.
She maxes out fast, so she's an easy pick to get up and running quickly. She can't be promoted, though, so once you have real Core Caster options her Arts dodge is the only thing keeping her relevant.

Background
The mysterious Durin girl haling from the underground world who is a close friend of Myrtle is supposed to be a prodigious Arts user.
However, she is more well-known for her narcolepsy and laziness that causes her to spend most of her time sleeping.
Although Durin's sleepiness does not affect her work performance, it makes others to think that her people are super lazy.
. . until Myrtle's appearance dismissed such stereotype.

Skills
1Lucky Lass
TalentWhile Durin has no skills, her talent Lucky Lass allows her to dodge Arts attacks 50% at a time. Lucky Lass is one of the best sources of Arts dodge in Arknights, allowing Durin to withstand a surprising number of attacks from enemy Casters so long as the player is fortunate enough to have it work as expected. Even better, stacking Lucky Lass with other Arts dodge sources (e. g. Nightingale's Sanctuary) will allow Durin to dodge nearly all incoming Arts attacks! Durin's base skill, Laziness (Sleepiness at Level 30), increases the morale recovery rate of all Operators resting in a Dormitory by 0.2 (0.25 for Sleepiness) per hour, but decreases her own morale recovery rate by 0.1 per hour when she is assigned to one. Overall, Durin is a good Core Caster for earlier content, especially in operations featuring enemy Casters since she can reliably withstand their attacks. As the player progresses however, Durin will eventually be outperformed by her higher rarity counterparts. However her low DP cost and great Arts dodge mean that she can still serve well as a reserve/backup Operator.
