Is Hilda (Hypnos) good?
Hilda spreads Sleep and Poison across the whole enemy team, with Delirium slowing everyone down and poisoning them (adding Sleep too, once ascended), and Dream, Interrupted piling on extra Poison against enemies with lower Defense than hers. Sleep Tight extends debuffs on a single target while putting them to sleep outright, and her passive turns her own Accuracy into bonus Defense while keeping her attacks reliable against slower enemies.
That team-wide status spread is why she rates A.

Endless Summer
When Lian and Estero Harbor were trapped in a seemingly never-ending time loop, a young Hilda frequently appeared together with a black cat, offering cryptic advice to the young woman.
She first appeared during Lian's diving practice, telling her to face her issue head-on instead of running away.
Hilda appeared again after Xia had locked Lian in their home after an argument, sending her cat to free her.
She told Lian to embrace the Miracle's power, giving her the confidence to accept her Esper transformation later on.
Her enigmatic appearances throughout this event were later explained in Warm Winter, as they were manifestations of the real Hilda breaking into Lian's illusion, altered to look like Hilda the way Lian would have remembered her.
Warm Winter
The events of Warm Winter properly introduce Hilda as a traveling undertaker, moving from town to town to provide funerary services when needed.
Upon receiving a mysterious letter guiding her towards the small town Accro, Hilda and her friend Hailey embarked on a road trip.
While on the road, Hilda made several stops to perform her services when needed, each time re-evaluating her own relationship with death, the departed, and her profession.
Eventually though, the two friends arrive in the ruins of Accro, a town that was supposed to be destroyed 13 years ago as a result of the Cube Miracle's ascension.
However, upon their arrival they find the ruins covered by a massive white seashell.
As they enter the seashell, they are transported to a dream-like version of Accro of 13 years ago, in the final days before the Miracle catastrophe.
Hilda encounters Tevor there, who has been trapped here for some time in the shape of a simple black cat.
Together they learn that they are in an alternate version of Accro, created by the divine powers of Lian, a girl living there at the point of the town's destruction.
During their investigations, Hilda realizes that she has visited Accro once before with her father, on the day of the calamity.
She encounters an illusory version of her younger self, as well as her father, created by Lian's memories of the citizens in town that day.
Taking the lessons she has learned on this journey with her, Hilda decides to save Lian from her self-destructive obsession and break her free from the illusion she resigned herself to live in.
As the group defeats Lian in combat, the illusory world starts to fall apart.
Once the dust has settled, Hilda and Hailey drive off into the distance together, leaving Tevor to take care of Lian for now.
Career 1: Finally reaching the other shore.
A hearse zips around the abandoned areas of Debia, the young undertaker Hilda at the wheel.
People say she moves among the ruins, leading the dead over to the other shore.
Right now, Hilda is squatting, digging through a heavy layer of sand, revealing the stiff body of a long-dead little dog, buried many years.
A little emotion sneaks onto Hilda's face, but only for a moment.
She kneels a moment and gently strokes the dog's head.
Valerian flowers bloom as she strokes, forming a gentle bed for the no longer living pup.
Soft light, shimmering like fireflies, washes the dirt from the dog's fur, and bathes its wounds.
Under the effects of Hilda's prayers, the dog is changed.
Seems now as if he is just gently, comfortably sleeping.
Career 2: Lonely, gentle young woman. A loner from her youngest days, for Hilda death has always been the family business.
Fearing death... it's only human nature.
When she was little, people told Hilda she was bad luck, just for touching other people's things.
Once she started school, not only did her classmates keep away from her, they said she was "a bug that grew inside a corpse."
She couldn't understand why she had to endure this abuse.
It wasn't like she'd done anything. She argued with her father, his response to her doubts and difficulties a half-defeated question:
"When I die, will you think my body is a dirty, scary thing?"
Faced with such a question, Hilda chose not to reply.
It wasn't until many years later that she learned what her answer should have been.
Career 3: Insomniac with a beautiful dream.
On that day, Hilda lost touch with her father while he was on the road, traveling for work.
By the time she found him, he was already dead, ravaged by a Miramon.
Dirty? Scary? Is passing into death an end to everything?
The answers were all "no."
In that moment Hilda understood her father and the flood of her regrets became the trigger for her Transformation.
Her divine power leads the living on into eternal sleep and carries them gently to the other shore.
That night, Hilda dreamed the longest of dreams.
In her dream, her father made it home, took out a gift he had for her with a look of mild embarrassment, wiped it once or twice, then walked toward her.
Career 4: Valerian fields beneath the northern lights.
Deciding to follow in her father's footsteps and become an undertaker, Hilda began to travel all over Grandis.
Even now, she accompanies those who pass away on their journey to the other side.
It has become her way of life.
Today, Hilda has arrived at a ruined village torn apart by Miramon and finds survivors clutching the brutalized remains of their loved ones.
She blinks, kneels with the villagers, closes her eyes, and clasps her fingers together.
Valerian flowers erupt in bloom, and the blackness of the night is punctured by the northern lights.
Pale blue light dotted green and purple, the aurora somehow like a girl with open arms, soothing the soul of the one she is embracing.
They all enter a deep sleep, a gentle wind caresses their cheeks, only lingering silence remains.
For Hilda, just another normal day.
The dead rest easy, the living slumber on.
