Jiang Man is built for clearing groups. Waters of Lethe tags the whole enemy team with Netherbloom, and once enough of it stacks up it chains explosions across multiple enemies, adding a brief Silence on top. That chain-reaction damage against grouped enemies is solid enough for B tier.

Career 1: Jiang Man is Shadow Decree’s most reticent and deadly sharp sword.

Jiang Man can often be seen silently caressing the spider lily that grew out of where her left eye used to be.

She looks dazed as she unconsciously strokes the flower, making her seem gentle and even child-like.

Some say that during these moments, she sees people from her broken past, which she can't recall clearly.

Hidden in the shadows, Jiang Man is so quiet you don't even notice her presence.

But, when she attacks, she kills.

She is indifferent to everything that is going on around her.

All she cares about is the mission. Even her teammates are intimidated by how merciless she is when they are out on missions together.

Callous and seething with unspoken hatred, she has become Shadow Decree’s favorite assassin.

She is a silent knife that pierces the heart of the Union.

Career 2: The days spent with that gentle doctor were the only happy hours in Jiang Man’s life.

After awakening from an endless darkness, Jiang Man could only remember being surrounded by the icy waters of the ocean.

When she was young, she was engulfed in suffocating desperation.

She felt powerless and tried to take her own life to free herself from her misery.

At that moment, a doctor from a faraway land suddenly appeared and stopped her from killing herself.

His name was Fan Liang.

With the doctors unrelenting help and attention, she grew more upbeat and optimistic.

She would even occasionally laugh at Fan's clumsy jokes.

Jiang Man had unknowingly fallen in love with the sweet, gentle doctor, and love's redeeming light had given her life a new purpose.

Then tragedy struck.

Career 3: The tragedy pushed her back into the icy deep sea and transformed her into a sharp sword born of enmity.

The bubble burst and her brief moment of happiness with Fan Liang came to an abrupt end.

He perished as a result of one of the Esper Union's covert experiments.

Unable to deal with his death, Jiang Man quickly relapsed into depression and embraced the ocean's depths once more.

Her Esper transformation took place under the cold waves of the sea, and she emerged from the waters with the divine powers of Meng Po, purged of her past memories.

She had completely forgotten about the sweet doctor and the heartache that he represented.

All that remained was a burning desire for retribution.

Jiang Man harbored a deep-seated hatred for the Esper Union that no one could comprehend.

After she became an agent of the Shadow Decree, she spent every moment mercilessly hunting down Union agents and spreading panic through their ranks.

Career 4: Hatred has driven her towards dark smog and achieving her goals by any means.

Her emotions have become more and more muted since the spider lily bloomed from her left eye.

Most days, she feels nothing at all.

Sometimes, Jiang Man is able to see phantoms of her past through her left eye, but those fragments are meaningless to her.

She seldom tries to recall what she used to be like before she lost her memories.

She lives alone in the world. She is not interested in making friends or doing anything else other than her work.

Her hatred for the Esper Union driver her forward, and she is willing to go to any length to achieve her objectives.

The only time Jiang Man shows any emotion is when she is able to hurt Union members.

She lives for their agony.
