Liam (Xolotl) is a Legendary Flow character in Dislyte. Liam (Xolotl)'s role is Defender. Faction: Wanderer.

Trivia

Liam and Valeria are the forth twins of Espers.

They came after Tang Xuan and Tang Yun, Xie Chuyi and Xie Yuzhi, and Fatum Sisters.

They are the first twin pairs of different genders.

They also became playable Espers in different updates.

Personal

Liam is an Esper who, similarly to Embla, suffers from physical and mental trauma as a result of his transformation.

The failed transformation is assumed to have been caused by his frail physical state as a human, as Liam has suffered from severe illness since he was a child.

Together with his sister Valeria, Liam never stayed in one place too long growing up.

The failed Esper transformation causes him to occasionally lose control over his powers, losing his consciousness and going on violent rampages.

As a result, people look towards him with disdain and fear, causing him and his sister great distress.

While Valeria always tried to integrate Liam into society, Liam eventually lost interest in participating in a "regular human life".

Devouring Beast

During the event story, Liam was involved in several attacks on Rashina Village caused by his frenzy.

After being seperated from his sister for a period of time, Liam encountered Fu Shi, who introduced himself as an apothecary trying to find a way to reverse Esper transformations.

Trusting Fu Shi to have good intentions, Liam became his unwitting test subject.

Fu Shi drugged Liam with serum meant to cause his frenzy state more often, all while telling him it will suppress his outbursts instead.

In addition, Fu Shi tampered with Liam's memory, so that the latter was entirely unaware of what really happened while repeatedly attacking nearby Rashina Village.

During the Union's investigation of the case, Brynn and Q reunited Liam with his sister and revealed Fu Shi's real intentions.

While Liam turned away from his manipulator, the relationship between the siblings remained troubled.

In the following days, Liam started to suffer from withdrawal symptoms since he had no access to Fu Shi's serum anymore.

Unwillingly entering a rampage once more and almost dying in the process, Liam was eventually saved by the combined efforts of the Union, Valeria and Feng Nuxi's medical expertise.

Feng Nuxi did not find a way to reverse Liam's esperhood, but developed medication that allows him to control his frenzied state better and maybe even avoid it entirely.

Liam set off with Valeria to live a more isolated life for a while.

Career 1 / Beneath the Silence.: The cloud projected a shade on the surface of the ocean, the storm was coming.

Sailors were hustling on the deck, loading goods into the cabin.

Within the crowd, an extremely thin sailor was overwhelmed by the heavy goods.

As he reached to the cabin and unloaded himself, he fell towards the edge of the boat and was about to fall into the water.

He felt a heavy shake and was back on the deck.

Liam put down the cargo and left silently with the gratitude from the sailor.

In a secret corner where nobody sees, Liam showed a smile on his face.

Career 2: Is the hope for a new start. Since a very young age, Liam found himself different from his sister.

Valeria is active and outgoing while he is disabled and handicapped.

His sister fought away all bullies toward him, but she couldn't stop people from seeing the strange face of his.

Astonishment, empathy... and fear.

Transformation cured Liam, as a side effect, it greatly changed his appearance and made him aggressive.

He often attacked others unconsciously. As this issue was becoming greater, the two decided to go and seek for the help of the Union.

Seeing that there are many Espers with an appearance of a beast, Liam felt a relief.

There was hope arising from his heart.

Perhaps, he will no longer be a freak when he is cured.

Career 3 / The final relief.: However, despite multiple treatments, the Union's efforts proved ineffective against Liam's illness.

The strange looking once again lies upon him.

What stressed him more was the expectation from his sister to wish him to blend into the society again.

Having left the Union with great disappointment, Liam encountered a pharmacist named Fu Shi from the Shadow.

Fu Shi's willingness of helping him lit up the hope within his heart again.

He gave all he had to cooperative with the research, not to blend into the society but to go home and be with his sister again.

The deception from Fu Shi crushed his last hope.

Losing control and biting his sister led him to the decision to end his life.

He'd rather die as a human than live as a beast.

Career 4 / After the storm.: Before Liam completely passed out, the Union scientist Feng Nuxi had finally found a way to contain the rampage.

However, he and his sister must move to a place far from humankind as he needs to release his Divine Power regularly.

As days of voyage pass on, more and more laughter showed up on his sister's face and Liam has met many sailors who trust him and accept him.

He is no longer the man he was, he is now the Guard Captain of the Flyingplume Voyageurs.

The boat has sailed past the storm, Valeria comes by his side: "They all think you are solid."

Staring at the sunny sky after the storm, Liam gives out a big smile of relief.

He and his sister have finally found their Sunshine.
