Career 1 / A special Scavenger.: Sloan, possessing Ereshkigal's divine powers, is unquestionably the most exceptional individual among the Scavengers.

Despite lacking a professional background in criminal investigation, Sloan has successfully cracked numerous cases that stumped even the most seasoned of Marshals.

Thanks to her unique ability, she can access random fragments of memories from the deceased upon contact, sometimes even glimpsing their final moments.

With this gift, Sloan has assisted the Esper Union in capturing countless criminals.

However, no one knows that Sloan is actually a criminal, atoning for her crimes under strict surveillance.

Career 2: A past that will never return.

Born in Debia, she was once a street orphan until she was taken home by the local gang boss and finally found a sense of belonging.

She grew up alongside the boss's daughter, Vashti, and they became best friends.

When Vashti took over her father's position, Sloan, owing to her capabilities, became the gang's second-in-command, and both served House Ramses.

Their partnership brought the gang considerable renown in Debia.

Everything went smoothly... until the day the family patriarch, Lateef, was assassinated.

Career 3: A dear friend who died in silence.

House Ramses' downfall plunged Debia into chaos, and Sloan's gang found themselves unavoidably entangled.

After encroaching upon the Shadow Decree's interests, core members of the gang met tragic ends one after another.

First trusted subordinates, then comrades in arms...

and finally, Vashti. Vashti's death was disguised as an accident and the case was hastily closed by the Marshals.

Unable to accept her friend's unexplained death, Sloan kidnapped a forensic examiner and forced him to investigate the case.

She discovered that Vashti had died not from an accident, but from a slow-acting poison.

In her fury, Sloan underwent a transformation.

Upon touching Vashti, Sloan witnessed her friend's last moments and uncovered a traitor within the organization.

Career 4: Half ally, half criminal. Sloan eliminated the traitor.

However, exploring the traitor's memories revealed another person responsible for framing Vashti—a true mastermind who Sloan failed to capture.

As a consequence of these events, Sloan, charged with multiple offenses—including murder, kidnapping a forensic examiner, and desecrating a body—was swiftly captured by the Union.

Yet, due to Sloan's unique ability being pivotal in tracking down criminals, she was pardoned by Luo Yan and now operates under strict supervision as a member of the Scavengers, performing acts of penance.

Sloan does not care about mitigating her charges or joining the Esper Union.
