Career 3 / Truth or lies?: As a youth, Yu Ran began to question whether Espers truly were as dangerous as society made them out to be.

Though he managed to obtain an entry-level position in the council, he maintained his capacity for independent thought, refusing to let his status define his beliefs.

To protect their own interests, Tangton's politicians have been more than happy to go along with the greatest lie of the age—that Espers are a threat to society.

Unchallenged by a compliant populace, suspicions have continued to spread, leaving the city's Espers in a state of constant fear.
