Episode 3: Seth and Ari
Amatech security assaults Dr. Seth's secret lab. Seth sends his daughter Ari to Sean Terry and enters a capsule. Sean Terry takes Ari, who wakes in a delivery box, and leaves Dynamite Blue on personal business. Lain's group digs into why Amatech has sealed off Midground and finds the names Zero-P and Seth in the factory wreckage. A massive Zero-P offers a lemon candy, and Ari is certain Papa is inside. NETIC's Mou approves of Hugo, who ordered the withdrawal.

These past few days, Amatech's security team has reportedly been roaming all over the Midground.
No idea what they're looking for, but the merchants are up in arms about not being able to do business. The Merchants' Guild put in a request to investigate.
Uncle Terry mentioned Amatech.
He said Mr. Terry's friend Dr. Seth was with Amatech.
Alright. Let's go, then. And while we're at it, tail that old man too.

The mood in front of HQ is grim... there are tons of people roaming around wearing the Amatech mark.
They appear to be a security team. Their armament level is different from ordinary guards.
What are they searching for so hard?
According to the Merchants' Guild report, since yesterday they've been searching the entire Midground for a 'specific robot.'
A robot?
It's an old military unit called Zero-P. The project was scrapped long ago... why come looking for it now, I wonder.
Suspicious~ I smell something good~
We've come in too far for now. Let's look around more. Hear what the merchants have to say too.

This station... is an Amatech-owned asset. Officially a decommissioned facility, but there are power-usage records up until recently.

It's info on the search target. 'Zero-P, military prototype, human-brain implant type.'
And... 'Full-Dive-applied unit, girl-type robot.' They're looking for this too.
A human brain in a robot? A girl-type robot?
There's more data. 'Subject: Seth. Research Division 3 Chief...'

Wasn't old man Terry's friend named Seth?
It means something happened at this abandoned factory, and Dr. Seth was there.
The reason Mr. Terry left in a hurry... could be because of this.
...They've caused all this commotion and still haven't found it.
And old man Terry might be helping with that.

I tried calling old man Terry but he won't pick up.

What Amatech was searching for in the Midground was Zero-P and the girl robot.
And Dr. Seth's name turned up in the abandoned-factory wreckage.

There were traces of Amatech carrying out an operation at the abandoned factory.
Dr. Seth was right at the center of it... and Mr. Terry leaving in a hurry was likely because of this.
...Terry'll handle it himself. He's an adult too.
