Is Hurado good?

A Dark mage debuffer whose passive, Dark Magic, cuts healing on the whole enemy team by 35% and speeds him up when they use non-attack skills. Dark Explosion hits all enemies with a high chance to strip a buff and push them back, and Staff Strike can Silence. We list him in D.

Background

Hurado is a mercenary with no memories, wandering in search for his home.

Unlike his intimidating appearance, he is extremely kind and sincere, and vulnerable to being conned by others.

Hurado has a direct role only in Arena Story.

Inside the Pyramid, he is shown traveling with Sven and, at one point, accompanying Ruele of Light.

After hearing Judge Kise and Ruele discuss how strange the Pyramid is and how their memories do not match the history Hurado knows, he decides they need to compare what they know so that no one misunderstands one another.

Although Judge Kise initially misreads his expression as hostility, Hurado calmly explains himself and tries to open a serious discussion about the conflicting accounts of the past.

Hurado later becomes directly involved in uncovering the false Vildred.

Together with Sven, he follows through on a plan to test him, though Hurado remains uneasy and wonders whether they made the wrong choice.

When the impostor finally drops the act, Hurado immediately recognizes that his suspicions were correct and demands to know who he really is.

The fake Vildred then attacks them, and Sven is wounded while protecting Hurado.

Even in the middle of the ambush, Hurado stays alert enough to notice the Pyramid suddenly transforming and responds when Sven uses that opening to urge him to escape.

Afterward, Hurado reaches Mercedes and Aki with the injured Sven and thanks them for saving his companion.

He explains that the one who attacked them looked like Vildred but felt like something entirely different, and says the impostor struck only after realizing they were starting to catch on.

When Mercedes reveals that someone had also used her appearance inside the Pyramid, Hurado is left asking what that attacker really was, helping confirm that the Pyramid contains beings capable of stealing other people’s identities.

Overall, Arena Story portrays Hurado as serious, perceptive, and more thoughtful than his intimidating appearance suggests.
