Is Modo of the Peal good?

A damage dealer with heavy crowd control, centered on an AoE Stun with a three-turn cooldown, and he looks much stronger with Esme the Dancer. That Stun skill adds an extra hit on Stunned enemies, and every kill he lands puts a two-turn Stun on the enemy with the highest Turn Meter. His A3 deals bonus damage to Stone Skin targets and gives an Extra Turn if it breaks one, though tankier enemies will likely need strong stats and a high Cracking Roots blessing.

Esme covers his gaps with RES ignore, Intercept buffs and a Turn Meter boost, and she lets his extra hit work on enemies that can't be Stunned; Arena is where he rates best.

Pairs well with: Esme the Dancer.

    Attacks all enemies. Has a 75% chance of placing a Stun debuff for 1 turn. Places an extra hit on enemies under Stun debuffs. If Esme the Dancer is on the same team, will always place an extra hit and ignore 20% of each enemy’s DEF. Lvl. 2: Damage +10% Lvl. 3: Damage +10% Lvl. 4: Buff/Debuff chance +10% Lvl. 5: Buff/Debuff chance +15% Lvl. 6: Cooldown -1

  • Peal of Breaking

    Ability 3 · Cooldown 5 turns

    Attacks all enemies. Will ignore Shield buffs. Damage increases by 75% while attacking enemies under Stone Skin buffs. If this attack removes one or more Stone Skin buffs, grants this Champion an Extra Turn. Lvl. 2: Damage +10% Lvl. 3: Damage +10% Lvl. 4: Cooldown -1

  • Beloved Companion

    Passive

    Whenever this Champion kills an enemy, places a Stun debuff on the enemy with the highest Turn Meter for 2 turns. Occurs once per skill. If Esme the Dancer is on the same team, this Champion’s skills will ignore 50% of each enemy’s RES. Also, if Esme the Dancer is on the same team, places an Intercept stack on this Champion at the start of their turn.
