Is Ifrit good?

A Madness front-row magic DPS built on Scorch: her Freshman skill creates a fire zone, her Senior skill leaps in and burns an area over ten hits, and her passive boosts her basic attacks and Scorch damage while making her immune to it. The numbers look good, but she has no sustain at the front and usually dies before doing much.
