Is Renewa good?
Renewa's signature move is Shield Break, letting her punch through enemy shields and strip buffs, which makes her a strong pick against Pure-type apostles and other shield-reliant teams. Her enhanced normal attack alone hits up to an 850% multiplier on a wide area every fourth hit while refilling her own SP every five seconds, and she layers on attack speed buffs, buff removal, self-healing, and a team-wide damage reduction and haste ultimate.
The catch is obtaining and raising her: she's a specialty character that's hard to pull and costly to fully build, and a lot of her power depends on unlocking her Tog.
Strengths
- Shield Break punches through enemy shields and strips buffs, especially strong against Pure-type apostles and other shield-reliant teams
- Enhanced normal attack hits up to an 850% multiplier on a wide area every 4th hit while recovering SP every five seconds
- Also brings attack speed buffs, buff removal, and self-healing on top of the shield-breaking
- Ultimate gives the whole team damage reduction and haste, and can slow or briefly root enemies to stretch out their cooldowns
- Her Tog drops area missiles that add sustained damage, shortens her own cooldown, lengthens the enemy's, and gives the team a 22.5% damage boost
Weaknesses
- Hard to obtain as a specialty character, and expensive in both time and resources to raise
- Depends heavily on her Tog for her real power jump, even though her base form isn't weak on its own
