Another Eden story ยท Collaborations, Octolight Conductors: The Prisoner's Odyssey
We need to talk about Demolition Drones.
Aldo and friends decide to play against a popular gaming SigmaTuber. It seems to be a 4-on-4 team game...
3 scenes, 52 lines
1. Scene 1
11 linesThanks for agreeing to collab with us!
How could I not after seeing that fabulous dance of yours? I usually stream games, and recently I've been doing a lot of multiplayer stuff.
You interested in playing something together?
Don't worry, I'll keep it noob friendly! But first we're gonna need a few more players.
Mind if I join, then?
Nicola!
I needed a break from scouting, anyhow.
Well that's one team accounted for! Now to find three more unsuspecting victims!
Ooh! Perfect timing! I'm gonna try and convince those guys to join us, so wait for me at the back of Sigma District, 'kay?
Is it really a good idea to invite random bystanders?
It's fiiiiiine! Streams are more interesting when you just go with the flow!
2. Scene 2
13 linesGood moooooorning from the mud puddle! Everyone awake out there?! SleepySludge is here and it's GAME TIME! I've got some new friends with me today, so get ready for a very special episode of multiplayer madness! Go on and introduce yourselves!
GAHNAG! I'm Suzette!
GAHNAG! Tithi here!
GAHNAG! Nicola at your service!
GAHNAG! And I'm Aldo!
Pfft! Gahnag?! What's that supposed to mean?!
Anyhow, it's time for today's game, DEMOLITION DRONES!
The rules are simple, Whichever team takes down their drones the fastest wins!
When you said we were playing games I figured we'd be controlling the drones, not smashing them up caveman style...
What can I say? Retro gaming is big these days, and it doesn't get much more retro than bashing stuff with a stick! But trust me, this is some cutting-edge technology! Your time will be instantly uploaded to the online leaderboards so you can compete with people from all over the world!
...Online leaderboards are "cutting-edge"?
Anyhow, we've just gotta beat these things up, right?
Yep! Ready? GOOOOOO!!!
3. Scene 3
28 linesRound over!!! You're pretty good!
Alright, my team's up next! Let's do this guys!
I've played this game before, so to make it fair I'll provide live commentary as I play.
I wouldn't expect such a bubbly girl to be able to take down a drone...
That's exactly what makes it interesting! It's adorable, like watching a puppy trying to climb the stairs!
Yeah, I'm starting to see why she's so popular. Her commentary must be so cute to listen to!
Readyyyyyy~ GO!!!
I'd better take some notes!
ALALALALALALALAES!!!
YAAAAAAHHH!!! DIE YOU ROBOTIC BASTARDS!!!
Uhh...
"You punch like a potato"?! SCREW YOU! I'm gonna have my mod find your house and beat you half to death with a sack of potatoes! GRRR!!! Why's this stupid drone have so much frickin' HP?! And its attacks have, like, no telegraphing at all! This game is trash! TRASH!!! "Just aim for the weak point"?! Ban that moron from chat!!!
"Calm down and time your attacks carefully"?! I AM CAAAAAAAAALM!!!
Phew! That was a blast! Thanks for the collab, guys!
Y-Yeah...
Heheh... Were you a bit surprised by my on-screen antics? Sorry about that.
It got to the point where I kinda wanted to run away in terror...
You'd think the viewers would feel the same, but instead the count just kept rising and rising... Do you act like that on purpose?
Hrmmm... Sometimes? Honestly, I'm just kinda prone to throwing controllers... But I guess people prefer watching that over tedious, methodical, pro-level gameplay.
So people actually LIKE to watch you rage...
And, they seem to actually LIKE it when I trash talk the comment section! It's probably easier for people to relate to someone who's down there in the dirt alongside them than to some prim and proper princess.
That actually makes a lot of sense...
Speaking of, I think you guys need to relax a little more on stream. If people feel like you're putting up a wall you'll end up losing viewers. And the "GAHNAG!" thing is okay I guess, but you might want to try and make it more relatable. Always remember that connecting with your audience on a personal level is the key to being a successful SigmaTuber!
Interesting... I guess even something as simple as a catchphrase has a surprising amount of depth to it.
Oh yeah! Now that the stream's finished, would you mind shooting a quick dance video with me, Tithi?
Yeah! Of course! How about you two? Wanna join?
I don't mind, but let's save the commentary for after were done, okay?
Ahahaha! You got it!
