Bridge over Rinde
A man stand on the Serena Coast. What is his problem?
4 scenes, 25 lines
1. Scene 1
9 lines*sigh* Wish I could do something...
What's wrong?
You remember that bridge that used to be here? I built it long ago to connect Rinde and Unigan.
Now that you mention it, there was a bridge around here on the other side.
Other side? Well, whatever. The bridge was destroyed by the beastfolk in the war. Can't cross it no more. I'm a carpenter from Rinde and I came here to fix up the bridge, but I don't have the materials I need. We'd have more than enough material if we lived in peaceful times, but I might have to give up on this.
If you had the materials, would you be able to build the bridge once again?
Yeah, where the heck is anyone gonna get their hands on that amount of materials?
You might be right, but let me take a shot at finding some for you.
If it's a peaceful Rinde we need, then the Rinde on the other side might have what we need.
2. Scene 2
9 linesThat guy... He looks just like the carpenter who wants to build the bridge on the other side.
Hey, you wouldn't happen to be a carpenter from around here, would you?
Um, yeah... But how did you know that?
I've been asking around, looking for you. There's a carpenter I know who wants to build a bridge but doesn't have the materials. Can you spare some of yours?
You're in luck. It just happens that I ordered too much wood recently that you can have.
Seriously?!
Yeah, I had a surplus to start with. And I hate to hear that there's another carpenter somewhere who can't did his job.
Thanks a bunch! This is a big help!
Give him my regards, too!
3. Scene 3
1 linesDid you find the materials for the bridge? I appreciate it, but don't overdo it.
4. Scene 4
6 linesWe've found you some materials, but is this enough for the bridge?
Wh-What?! Where did you find those in this...
Oh who care! I'll get started right away!
Take a look. What do you think?
I'm impressed! You did that in the blink of an eye!
It's been a while since I've had the chance to break a sweat like this. I can't thank you enough.
