Is Schwarz good?
Schwarz is Arknights' go-to Heavyshooter Sniper for boss-killing: her passive gives every attack a shot at bonus damage plus a chunk of enemy defense shredded away, and her signature skill locks that proc in for a huge, reliable damage window while boosting her attack further, at the cost of narrowing her hits to a straight line ahead and slowing her fire rate.
She also lends a flat attack boost to any other Snipers on the field, provided at least one is deployed alongside her. Outside that boss-killing setup, though, she's less flexible than most Snipers: her base range is short, her deployment cost climbs every time she's promoted, and she has no particular answer to enemies in the air.

I'm Schwarz, Lady Ceylon's personal bodyguard, here to join Rhodes Island with her.
If at all possible, please assign me to accompany her.
Her codename means "black" in German, which refers to both the black tea (from which the Ceylon tea belongs to) and the black panther from which she possesses its animal traits
Schwarz is one of the few characters in Arknights who wear revealing clothes (not including outfits).
This is possibly because of Siesta's subtropical climate.
During her announcement of her release, Schwarz's base artwork featured her wielding a crossbow that closely resembled a Barnett crossbow.
Presumably to avoid copyright issues following her release, the artwork was changed in an unspecified update where the crossbow was replaced with a different one of original design.
Schwarz's voice actress, Shizuka Ito, is also the Japanese voice actress of Widowmaker in Overwatch.
Coincidentally, both characters are a sniper and an assassin (former in Schwarz's case), and shares a similar background as well as cold and ruthless personality.
