1. Before the battle
34 linesWhy in the hell did all this have to happen, damn it? Why now?!
All of this is your fault, Ginjo! None of this would've happened if you hadn't come along and dragged me into your stupid mess!
Kh... Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry.
Damn it!!!
I know... It's not your fault. You were only trying to help.
And it's not your fault either, so stop blaming yourself, Ichigo.
............
Just before Yukio and the others attacked, he had something interesting to say.
It's just that we finally remembered.
He remembered? What's that supposed to mean?
I'm not sure. From what Chad said before, I thought Tsukishima's power was centered around his ability to disrupt memories.
But now, I'm not so sure that's what's going on. Rather than their memories being disrupted, they sounded more like things were becoming clearer as they remembered them.
Now, I think that Tsukishima's true power is not a disruption of memory, but a manipulation of past history.
Kh?!
Tsukishima has to have placed himself in the pasts of the people he cuts down. It's the only explanation.
Wait, is that even possible?
Not sure. But you saw the reactions of your friends and family. I know you did.
It's far beyond a matter of trusting or not trusting the man. To them, Tsukishima's always been in their lives.
His victims aren't confused and show no signs of having been manipulated. It's like he's always been there.
In case you hadn't noticed, the two of us who don't know Tsukishima are considered the crazy ones.
Let me ask you something.
If we kill Tsukishima, will that return things to normal?
I'll be honest with you. Even if we were able to pull that off, there's no guarantee things would go back to normal.
We might end up being despised by our family and friends as nothing but murderers. Or they might believe we've gone crazy, and try to lock us in an asylum.
But after seeing what's going on here, I've become convinced. We're out of options. There's only one way we can break his stranglehold. We have to kill him!
The question is, can you really kill the guy when there's no guarantee it'll undo everything?
Well, now. This is a disturbing conversation.
Just how did you know where we were?
Excuse me? What are you talking about? The same way I always know.
Don't you remember the system we set up? We made sure we could make contact with each other whenever we were separated.
I guess you really aren't yourself today, Kugo.
Come on, let's go back.
Relax guys. In case you're wondering, neither Mr. Tsukishima nor anybody else is angry with you for your behavior. In fact, we feel sorry for you.
Everything's going to be okay though. We'll bring you back to your senses.
2. After the battle
9 linesWe're here.
Let's go.
Welcome.
Tsukishima!
Hold on! We can't charge in there without thinking! Don't forget. If Tsukishima's power is what I think it is, one single strike ends everything!
Take it easy. Look, I'm unarmed. I mean it. I have no intention of fighting either of you. Come in. Let's talk.
You have to be kidding. With a house full of potential traps, you think the two of us would just walk in?
You're very paranoid. If I were going to set a trap, I wouldn't wait until the last minute. I would have set it in the forest on your way here.
You heard the man. Now, hurry up and come inside.
