1-4 Arrival of Squad Zero

What is that?!

Tenchuren. Squad Zero uses it to get around in.

It has plenty of room for five squad members.

What?! There's only five??

It's a squad of captains only. Five of 'em.

But the combined power of those five is greater than that of all the 13 Court Guard Squads.

Hell, yeah, that's right! We're here, drink it in! We are finally here!

............

The one and only Squad Zero is in the house!

Long time no see, you rookies! How've you been keeping yourselves, huh? Have you been eating right, getting enough sleep, brushing your teeth?

I can't say these guys are exactly what I pictured they'd be like...

What the hell was that for?!

It's been a while, hasn't it, Shinji? Hiyori isn't with you today? How rare!

"It's been a while"? I don't even know you, Wait. "Hiyori"?

Have you forgotten who I am? It's me, Kirio! Remember?

M-Ms. Kirio?! Whoa, you've... You've...changed. You look completely different!

Ohh, Shinji, stop your teasing! I haven't changed all that much. Oh! I am starving!

............

Heh. I bet you're happy to see me again, Unohana. Are ya? So anyway, I'm curious, have you been putting all those healing techniques I taught you to good use?

Yes, of course.

Ya sure about that? 'Cuz from what I heard, you guys ended up having to bury a lot of your squad members. How do you explain that, hm?

............

Enough of that! I know you guys wanna kiss and catch up, but save it, 'cuz we've got bigger fish to fry!

Tsk.

Well. I see no one in Squad Zero's changed very much, have they, Osho?

So, what's made you decide to bless us with your presence?

Hmm. This must be Ichigo Kurosaki, huh? The Soul King ordered us to come and start rebuilding the 13 Court Guard squads.

And the first order of business is to take Ichigo back up with us.
