Batman is a Mythic character in DC: Dark Legion. Batman's weapon type is melee and role is Warrior.

Batman mixes offense and defense without doing either particularly well: sustained damage split between single-target and small area effects, some ATK debuffing, and an untargetable window on Dark Knight Detective that often makes enemies switch to a different ally instead. That untargetable trick can actually backfire if he's the frontliner protecting someone, since the enemy just attacks whoever he was meant to shield.

We rate him B. He's also one of the hardest Mythics to level up, since his shards don't drop from Random Mythic Champion Shards, which makes him a rough investment unless you're buying Hero's Path bundles.

As a boy, Bruce Wayne saw his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, gunned down in front of him by a criminal.

Inheriting a fortune in the billions, Bruce, under the guardianship of faithful family butler, Alfred, vowed to dedicate his life to making sure no one else experienced the same loss.

He spent years training in criminology, science, and every method of combat and strategy known to man.

Finally ready to begin his war on crime, Bruce realized after a near-fatal encounter that he needed a psychological advantage as well.

Inspired by a bat, he created the identity of Batman to strike fear into criminals.

Outfitting a system of caves beneath Wayne Manor as his base, Batman began his legendary exploits as the Dark Knight of Gotham City.

Initially, Batman's only ally was Alfred, who used his military medic experience to tend to his wounds.

But soon, Batman found an honest man in Gotham City's notoriously corrupt police department: Jim Gordon.

Together, they cleaned up the GCPD, and Gordon became commissioner.

When a boy named Dick Grayson, from a family of circus acrobats, saw his parents fall to their deaths in an accident staged by extortionist Tony Zucco, he became obsessed with learning who was responsible.

Seeing that Grayson could easily go down a dark path, Bruce took in Dick as a foster child, revealed his Batman identity to him, and helped him bring Zucco to justice.

Dick joined Bruce as Batman's partner Robin.

Having an adoptive father spared Dick a life of darkness, while having Robin around brightened Bruce's life.
