Lapis snowballs off her team's energy buffs, gaining extra energy and Absolute Order stacks any time an ally grants her AP Up. Azure Requiem builds toward a bigger Judicial Fury with every active cast, and that finisher hits the whole enemy team, dealing even more against bosses once she's ascended.

She's clearly built to be paired with allies who hand out energy buffs, which is a big part of why she's rated S.

Career 1 / She is order incarnate: Lapis strikes fear no matter where she goes, even in a place like the Shadow Decree.

It's the strict manner in which she carries herself and demands of others—though her overwhelming power helps too, of course.

One can occasionally see Lapis take quiet, quick strides to the corner of the room, elegantly toss a chocoball into her mouth, then return to her station as if nothing happened.

Perhaps she has some cute qualities buried deep within.

Career 2: Suffered a turbulent childhood Lapis' family used to make a living running supermarkets and convenience stores.

During those days, she'd always lend a hand whenever she could.

Lapis enjoyed being around densely packed and neatly arranged items—it made her feel at ease.

But life is never so simple. When her family moved to Graywater for work, Lapis struggled with the city's "survival of the fittest" culture.

They had to constantly let others walk all over them just to survive.

Lapis' life was full of danger. Her father often took her on the road to buy new wares, and their journeys were often beset by all manner of Miramon and vicious bandits.

Career 3: Follower of the new decree As Lapis grew up, she learned how to use her Divine Power to fight smaller Miramon and keep bandits at bay.

The family business seemed to be on the up, and she could feel her father's pride.

But this fragile balance could not last long.

One day, someone hired a rogue Esper to kidnap Lapis.

Despite her best efforts, Lapis was unable to resist the Esper's overwhelming power, and her father was killed while desperately trying to save her.

Fortunately for Lapis, Hyde showed up just in time to fend the Esper off.

Seeing the girl's terrified and pitiful state, Hyde offered her a place in the Shadow Decree.

He taught her an important lesson—weakness invites destruction.

When allowed to fester, evil grows bolder.

Only strength can establish order.

Career 4 / The blade of shadow: Lapis accepted Hyde's offer and joined the Shadow Decree under his tutelage.

Lapis proved unsuitable for research work, but she grew immensely powerful as Hyde helped her master her Divine Power.

Lapis firmly believes that overwhelming injustice must be corrected with overwhelming power.

She knows that Hyde will one day uncover the mystery of the Miracles, and she won't hesitate to use the power of Ma'at to pave the way for him.

To this end, she's trained an elite squad loyal to Hyde and Hyde alone.

Ready to go at a moment's notice, the squad follows orders without question and is able to complete its missions flawlessly.

As for Lapis, like a bodyguard, she's always by Hyde's side.
