Blessed by Tianfei, she now journeys across the seas, quietly helping those in need.

Now it feels deep and endless.

The light fades into the distance, and everything turns calm and gentle.

She dives into the sea, following the last bits of light.

Every splash she makes carriers her farther toward freedom.

Career 1 / A navigator's gift.: The girl brushes aside the sand with her bare hands, digs out a shell, and lifts it to the sunlight for a closer look.

Ling Zhao studies the patterns on nthe shell as the breeze her short, sea-blue hair.

A faint smile touches her usually calm face.

Not far away, a small boat rests by the shore.

On the deck, Ling Zhao's friend Sia watches her with curious eyes.

Then, with a splash, Ling Zhao lifts the shell on a wave and sends it gently toward Sia.

Sia takes the shell, still perfectly dry, and gives her a smiling wink.

"Aha,, a gift from a great navigator? I'll gladly take it."

Career 2: A cage, and the light that breaks it.

Ling Zhao was born in a remote seaside town and received Tianfei's divine power at the age of twelve.

With it, she could command the waves and protect fishing boats from danger, but her parents turned that gift into a way to make money.

Escorting merchant ships drained her power and caused her pain.

Her family's greed and coldness made her quieter, more withdrawn, and tired of the world—until Sia came into her life.

Sia is a scholar. Whenever she invites Ling Zhao out on sea expeditions, she shares stores of distant places, brings her thoughtful gifts, and encourages her to accept her power and discover what it can truly do.

Sia's companionship is like a beam of light, bringing a sense of freedom and pushing back the shadows left by her family.

Career 3 / The pain of betrayal.: Once, Ling Zhao asked Sia how she managed to convince her parents to let her travel so freely.

Sia only smiled and said, "That's a secret," then promised that their dream voyage around the seas would happen soon.

But just as that dream was about to come true, Ling Zhao discovered that Sia—the friend she trusted most—was actually a member of the Shadow Decree, and had long ago made a deal with her parents to have Ling Zhao sold to them.

The betrayal left Ling Zhao cold to the core.

She believed Sia wanted to control her too.

Terrified of losing her freedom again, she refused to listen to any explanation from Sia.

Career 4: Reconciliation and rebirth. For the first time, Ling Zhao and Sia fell into a fierce argument.

Sia confessed that she had first approached Ling Zhao as part of a mission.

But over time, she was moved by Ling Zhao's sincerity and strength, and came to see her as a true friend..

When she realized the Shadows' plan could cost Ling Zhao her life, Sia chose to fight back, determined to help her escape it all.

Under the cover of night, Ling Zhao tried to leave, still unwilling to trust Sia, but members of the Shadows lay in wait.

In that critical moment, Sia threw herself in front of Ling Zhao and was gravely wounded.

Deeply moved, Ling Zhao finally came to terms with her divine power and summoned raging winds and towering waves to drive the enemy back.

When the storm was over, the sea grew calm again.

Watching the filth washed away by the waves, Ling Zhao knew that no matter what lay in the past, they still had a free and hopeful future ahead of them.
