Memories and melodies of the past are buried together in the depths of the sea.

Career 1: Lonesome Whales Seldom Sing. Her vision bounded by the endless blue of the sky, Norah watches herself slowly sinking towards the seabed, knowing all the time that she is dreaming once again about what happened.

Born into a very normal family of fishing folk, young Norah loved to dive and spent her days down by the sea.

At twelve she had an accident and nearly drowned.

That was the birth of all her troubles, she survived but was left practically deaf.

Her hearing extremely limited, Norah withdrew from the company of other children, closed herself off from the world.

Singing to the sea became the only way she could express herself, the crashing of the waves the only response she received.

Career 2: Quietly Finding the Melody. One rainy summer's day, Norah turned her face towards the sea and sang of rainbows after summer rain.

Her song over, she heard an unexpected voice.

That day she met a painter, Anna, who praised her singing and told her that her voice had allowed her to feel color in a new way, was the missing piece that made her paintings complete.

She said she hoped she could become Norah's audience.

The two young women became friends and, with Anna's encouragement, Norah slowly opened up.

They agreed to meet again the next summer.

Waiting for the next time they would meet, Norah wrote a song for Anna.

Each day she'd think about how Anna might react when she finally got to hear it.

Career 3 / All is Silence.: The next summer, Anna sets off as the two of them had agreed.

Before they get the chance to speak, the Cube Miracle descends and rips apart the peace of Estero Harbor.

Countless thousands of helpless souls are pulled howling into the Miracle.

Norah pushes her way against the flow of people fleeing from the Miracle, comes to the Harbor, and spies that familiar figure dressed in white.

Moments from being pulled into the Miracle, Norah sees Anna smile at her, her eyes filled with regret.

Norah reaches out to Anna but finds herself swept up by a gigantic wave and pulled beneath the surface of the sea.

Tumbling beneath the waves, Norah loses the musical abilities her divine power had given her.

She finds she can no longer write music, can no longer even sing.

Career 4: Where Melody and Color Meet. Not long after the Miracle descends, Norah completes her Transformation.

She finds herself unable to use the abilities it should have granted her.

She finds she still cannot sing.

Fourteen years pass before the spring when, with Li Guang's help, Norah stills a surging sea and finds the case that Anna had been carrying on that fateful day.

Inside that case, Norah finds paintings left by Anna, paintings depicting Norah herself singing in a voice strong and free.

She cannot help but cry.

Sitting a while in the ruins of what used to be the harbor, Norah gently opens her mouth and shakingly begins to sing a song that she had written for Anna and Anna alone.

Norah's singing calms the turbulent seas and, seeing this, she and Li Guang agree to return to the waters and seek out Anna in the deepest reaches of the Cube Miracle.
