Sui Zai wins fights by baiting hits and counterattacking, building up a debuff called Doom's Grasp on whoever keeps swinging at her. She can't be buffed or debuffed herself, which makes her hard to shut down, and her basic combo hits three times with bonus burn damage once ascended.

Once she's stacked enough counters she cashes them in for a big true-damage attack across the whole enemy team, which is enough to earn her A tier.

Career 1 / A ferocious beast.: Among the Tangton guards, there is an Esper named Sui Zai, who gained the divine power of Beast Nian when the Chaos Miracle arrived.

Due to his years of living in the mountains, Sui Zai sometimes behaves uncouthly, and his rugged appearance often intimidates strangers.

To better fit into society, he is now learning about human customs and etiquette.

Sui Zai is quite easygoing, and all you need to do is be honest with him.

While he isn't well-versed in social norms, you will realize that he has a carefree, youthful soul at heart after spending more time with him.

Career 2 / An abandoned child.: Sui Zai lost his parents when he was young and was taken in by his kind neighbors, who had a son named Li.

Whenever Sui Zai was bullied, Li was always the first to come to his rescue.

Sui Zai's appearance changed drastically after his transformation, leaving his foster parents terrified.

Coupled with Tangton's strict policies against Espers, they decided to send him away.

Despite Li's protests, they locked Sui Zai in the warehouse where fireworks were stored.

When a fire broke out, Sui Zai managed to escape, but the flames left a lasting trauma on the young boy.

Devastated, Sui Zai lost faith in humans and decided not to return to Tangton.

He retreated into the mountains, choosing to live a solitary life.

Career 3 / A recluse.: One day, after a battle with a wolf pack, Sui Zai was injured and rescued by a passing researcher.

Sui Zai slowly let down his guard after spending days with the researcher.

When he had recovered, the researcher invited him to return to Tangton together.

Believing it was a ruse, Sui Zai became livid and drove the researcher away.

On his way out of the forest, the researcher ran into the wolf pack seeking revenge.

He tried to fend them off with a torch but ended up starting a fire.

By the time Sui Zai rushed over to help, the fire was already raging.

Due to his childhood trauma, he was unable to escape and was on the verge of getting trapped.

Seeing this, the researcher came clean—he was Li.

Career 4 / Genuine and sincere.: Li admitted that he had recognized Sui Zai when they first met but hadn't gathered the courage to reveal himself.

He promised to help Sui Zai escape and vowed to never leave him again.

Sui Zai was moved by Li's sincerity and courage.

Seeing Li get injured while protecting him, Sui Zai overcame his fear and charged out of the blaze.

The two went back to Tangton together after the incident.

Although Sui Zai had been away from human society for a long time, he no longer felt afraid as long as Li was there to support him.

Now, in light of Tangton's softened stance on Espers, Sui Zai has taken up the duty of guarding the town and keeping the nearby Miramons at bay.
