Is Zelmer (Sekhmet) good?
Zelmer punishes debuffed targets hard, since every debuff stacked on an enemy adds to the damage of his nuke, Scarlet Tides. He can also bleed enemies on a crit and occasionally chip away at their Defense with his basic attack. He needs the enemy team already weakened to really pay off, which keeps him at D tier.
Strengths
- Nuke damage scales with the number of debuffs on the target
- Can inflict Bleed on a critical hit
- Chance to lower enemy Defense
Weaknesses
- Needs debuffed targets to really deal damage
Profile
Her birthday is August 11, 2005, and she stands 167cm tall.
Background
Career 1: Although the rarely used words have made Zelmer feel giddy, She still cherishes the dictionary Narmer gave her.
Zelmer enjoys the feeling of running, of leaving everything behind her and focusing solely on her breathing and heartbeat.
Studying, however, does not come as naturally to Zelmer as running, and is the source of many headaches for her.
Often finding herself confused and overwhelmed by the complicated knowledge of Miracles, she nevertheless persists in her studies, determined to help her adoptive father Narmer.
Zelmer flips so intently through her old dictionary that its edges are worn and ragged from its constant use.
When Narmer offered to buy her a new dictionary, Zelmer vehemently refused.
That old dictionary was the first birthday gift she ever received from Narmer, and it held an irreplaceable spot in Zelmer’s heart.
Career 2: Zelmer has insecurity issues. Zelmer would often dream of Narmer suddenly disappearing.
After jolting awake from her nightmare, she would run over to Narmer, anxious to make sure he was still safe and sound.
Narmer treated Zelmer with the utmost patience, fully understanding her trauma and the time needed for her heart to heal.
Zelmer was plagued by this nightmare for a long time and grew more and more frightened at the prospect of losing her family once again.
On one occasion, Zelmer did manage to save Narmer’s life; it was then that Zelmer finally realized that, instead of worrying blindly, she needed to take the initiative to protect her family.
Thus, the powerful beast within her was awakened, wildly savage but unwaveringly loyal.
Career 3: Zelmer will always protect this hard-won home that gives her warmth.
Zelmer has always been a straightforward person, both in speech and in action.
Simple and honest, she could never understand why there were so many twists and turns when it came to human interactions.
“Isn’t it easier to just be frank when it comes to dealing with others?”
Zelmer is not as suited to contemplation as Narmer but has a job that suits her abilities perfectly: guardian.
Narmer offers her sincere companionship and care, and she returns his kindness many times over.
Zelmer is fierce, but not particularly fond of battle; whenever someone or something threatens her family, however, she will not hesitate to bare her razor-sharp claws.
It is always so much harder to protect than it is to destroy, but Zelmer will never stop defending her warm and beloved new home.
