Sakurai Kogure

Sakurai Kogure (桜井さん) was a Japanese unstable hybrid who directed the Oni Clan under Osho and Ruri Kazama as their Ryoma.

Biography

Early life

Kogure was the daughter of Sakurai Kosaburo from the Sakurai family and the half-sister of Sakurai Akira.

She was confirmed to have a dangerous percentage of dragon blood when she was five years old and raised in isolation.

At the age of 14, she escaped and joined the Oni Clan.

Kogure had a beautiful voice and was a good singer, she was introduced to the Oni Clan's second in command, Ruri Kazama.

Kazama introduced himself as the second son of the Gen clan and asked Kogure if she wanted to hear him sing, the pair grew close and they fell in love, but they never confessed their feelings.

Kogure rose through the ranks quickly, by the age of 24, she was the Ryoma of the Oni Clan and the public face of the organization, since Kazama and Osho ruled from the shadows.

The Oni managed to overtake many of the Yamata no Orochi's territories and became a formidable threat to them.

The War

In 2011, Cassell College sent three specialists to perform a mission at the bottom of the Japanese trench.

By this time, Kogure was the manager of the Bliss Hall, the Kishu's main base of operations, in there, people could make all sorts of illegal activities.

One night, she helped a businessman to take revenge on his cheating wife and other people who wronged him by tying them up to chairs and locking them all together in a room.

Kogure gave the man a hammer and closed the door.

"If you still need a test product, since Akira and I are half-siblings, there must be similarities in our blood.

"Woman, don't be so eager to leave me. " The man whispered, "I'm not tired of you yet.

She met with Ruri, who was practicing a play in his quarters; they discussed the recent assassination of Akira by the Orochi's law enforcers.

Kogure offered to drink the Molotov Cocktails as a new test subject, but she was dissuaded by Ruri, who kissed her before leaving.

Cassell's mission was a failure, the operation was sabotaged and a horde of Death Servitors resurrected at the bottom of the Japanese trench.

Blaming the incident on the Oni, Masamune Tachibana named his adoptive son Gen Chisei the new patriarch of the Orochi and they declared war on the Oni Clan.

The conflict was perfectly planned and the rebellious Kishu were killed and incarcerated in less than a week.
