Mai

Mai is an SSR Wind character in Dragon Raja : ReRise. Mai's role is Dps. Faction: Mingze Faction.

Sakatoku Mai

Sakatoku Mai (酒德麻衣), codenamed "Egret", is a well-trained ninja who works for the Mingze faction, in a special unit known as the Nanny Trio.

She is the sister of Sakatoku Aki.

She graduated from the University of Tokyo and started working for Lu Mingze.

He sent her to attack Cassell College along with Zero, Old Tang and 20 mercenaries, where she fought against Caesar Gattuso, but they later joined forces to repel Constantine.

When the school fought against the dragon king Norton, she killed the weakened beast using a philosopher's stone bullet.

After the summer, she was sent by Mingze to bid against Lu Mingfei in an auction.

Days later, she infiltrated Cassell's Ice Cellar to prevent Xia Mi from obtaining Constantine's skeleton.

Allowing Mingze to take control of her body, they defeated Xia Mi and forced her to leave.

She and Enxi were sent to Beijing to supervise Mingfei and make sure his feats were noticed by the whole world.

After completing their mission, they had to follow the Ace Team to Japan to make sure they would survive the dangerous circumstances of their assignment.

She injected herself with blood from an ancient dragon and accompanied the team on a submarine mission, where she defused a nuclear reactor to keep the aces safe and defended the submarine against corpse mermaids.

The serum nearly turned her into a death servitor.

Mai and Enxi bought the Takamagahara club and watched over the trio while they hid there.

They attempted to make Lu Mingfei fall in love with Uesugi Erii to motivate her to leave the Yamata no Orochi.

After the white queen resurrected, Mai helped Mingfei to escape Takamagahara, but he was too late to save Erii.

The following year, Mai was sent to Beijing to save Finger Von Frings from a multitude of Death Servitors.

Lu Mingze ordered her and Enxi to protect Mingfei, Nono and Zihang, now that the trio became fugitives of the Secret Party, and they did so by hiring mercenaries to guard them.

Two years later, she also assisted Caesar and Finger in their mission to hunt down the Leviathan.

Biography

Background

Mai graduated from the music department of the University of Tokyo.

She had a sister named Aki, whom she perceived as an ugly duckling.

When she died working for Cassell College, Mai wasn't visibly hurt, yet it infuriated her to know that Aki died as someone's pawn.

Mai was trained as a ninja, her mentor first ordered her to jump from the top of a cliff without safety ropes or a parachute, otherwise, he would not teach her.

The bottom of the cliff was shrouded in mist, but Mai jumped anyway and landed on a net.

She laughed for a while, confusing the mentor, who expected her to be crying in fear.

She explained that she laughed because she found the net comfortable, and she wouldn't hesitate to die for her goal.

In the following years, she travelled a lot and had numerous boyfriends from different nations.

She started working for Lu Mingze at some point in her career as part of a group called "The Nanny Trio", which also included Su Enxi and a girl named Zero, whom she nicknamed "Deadpan" due to her lack of figure and expressions.

The team had a very specific mission: to protect and support Lu Mingfei, a task that Mai found incredibly obnoxious.

The Norton missions

During Mingfei's first year in Cassell, the Nanny Trio formed part of a team of 20 mercenaries that attacked Cassell College.

The secret objective of the mission was to allow one of their team members, Lao Tang, to come into contact with the copper base that contained Constantine.

Mai was not entirely informed about their goal, which led her to argue constantly against Tang and Zero.

She had the specific task of occupying the Hall of Heroes, where she confronted Caesar Gattuso.

Using her Yanling skill she surrounded him and got rid of his team using Frigga Bullets.

After mocking his age, they started a duel, in which Caesar ordered Norma to turn off the lights so he could use his own Yanling skill to his advantage, getting rid of Mai's mercenaries in seconds.

The pair started a sword fight.

Mai used special hairpins that produced a whistling sound in order to confuse Caesar's hearing.

He managed to defend himself long enough by learning to recognize her heartbeat.

Once Constantine hatched and started running rampant on the school grounds, the pair engaged him as a distraction while Anjou and Mingfei prepared to take him down.

Two months later, Cassell started a dragon-slayer operation to annihilate Norton.

Mai was sent to make sure Mingfei survived and Norton was defeated.

She was equipped with a philosopher's stone bullet.

After waiting for Cassell to make their final move, a seemingly defeated Norton came back from his apparent death.

Mai shot the dragon king in the head and reported her victory to her boss.

Dragon Feast

That summer, Mai participated in a dragon feast in Chicago by bidding on the Seven Deadly Sins during an auction.

She competed against Lu Mingfei for the prize, despite the fact that Mingze was financing both of them.

Days later, during Xia Mi's attempt to locate and consume Constantine's skeleton, Mai was tasked with defending it.

Xia Mi repelled the barrier that blocked the use of Yanling, in hopes of allowing her fellow dragon king to wake up.

This allowed Mingze to take control of Mai's body to confront Xia Mi himself.

They were successful in repelling her.

The hunt for Fenrir

Mai and Enxi were sent to Beijing during the College's search for Fenrir, where their boss asked them to make sure the whole world would know about Mingfei's future victory against the King of Earth and Mountain.

Mai commissioned a special quest from Blizzard entertainment in the MMORPG World of Warcraft.

They later paid a Chinese guild to make a character with Mingfei's name and level it up high enough to allow it to be the first to complete their customized quest.

They later attempted to motivate a depressed Mingfei by sending an actress that resembled Chen WenWen to flirt with him.

While they were unsuccessful, Mingze's own intervention managed to send Mingfei right into the subway, where Mai and Enxi supervised the final fight against Fenrir and Jormungand.

Mai was shocked to witness the magnitude of the fights she regularly took part of since Mingze's control of her body didn't leave clear memories of their confrontations.

When Fenrir initiated Shiva's Dance, she and Enxi panicked and attempted to escape the potential nuke, only for Mingze to send champagne to their room, asking them to relax and enjoy the show.

They supervised Mingfei's victory and then proceeded to leave the country.
