Lore

Welcome to Oasis Land

In Welcome to Oasis Land, Cerise appears only briefly, and specifically in her Cobalt Pearl suit, during the scenes showing Oasis Land after its successful restoration and reopening.

She does not participate in the central conflict involving Frida, the Pfalz family, or the effort to revive the park, but instead appears as one of the guests enjoying the restored attraction.

Her short appearance is centered on the beach area of the park.

After Ocean Breeze Luluca happily remarks that the restored scenery looks just like a real beach, Cerise excitedly points out the surf shop to her.

When Luluca suggests that they try surfing there, Cerise agrees and says that the long trip down was worth it.

In this cameo, the story presents her in a lighter, more relaxed role, using her enthusiasm to help emphasize the success of Oasis Land’s man-made beach and the appeal of its seaside attractions.

Orbis Gladiatorium

In Orbis Gladiatorium - Preliminaries and Call of the Heavens, Cerise first reappears at Lefundos Port with Pavel when Arky becomes violently sick from overeating on the voyage.

She immediately offers help, examines him, and gives him emergency medicine, showing a practical and composed side before the main tournament even begins.

In the same scene, it is also confirmed that she and Pavel successfully made it to the main tournament stages of the Gladiatorium.

Once the official rounds are underway, Cerise continues acting as one of Ras’s allies and fellow competitors.

She points out where the F. I. D. E. L. I.

S. accommodations are, heads there with Ras and Pavel, and tells Ras that she hopes they will meet in competition, making clear that she has entered the tournament not just as support, but as a serious fighter in her own right.

Later, Ras recalls information Cerise told him about Inheritor Amiki, which shows that Cerise is also attentive to the other contestants and their backgrounds.

Cerise eventually faces Ras in the main tournament.

Before that, she advances through the official bracket by defeating Landy in the quarterfinals, establishing herself as one of the strongest contenders before meeting Ras in the semifinals.

Before their battle, she explains that living through the chaos in Cidonia after the invasion of Straze and Fastus made her realize that, no matter how frightening celestial beings may be, she wants to protect her people with her own hands and ensure the happiness of those living in Aakhen.

At the end of Orbis Gladiatorium, Cerise is still present when Ras notices that the Axe of Heavenly Mandate has changed, placing her near the story’s transition into the Monolith crisis.

Monolith Showdown

In Monolith Showdown, Cerise is one of the people dragged into Notos’s Pyramid during the chaos surrounding the Axe of Heavenly Mandate.

Soon after, Notos uses fragments of his power to turn Ras’s companions into Protectors, and Cerise becomes the first such opponent Ras encounters inside the Pyramid.

She occupies the Altar of Sacrifice on Ras’s side of the Pyramid’s mirrored bracket, making her the opening battle in his route toward Notos.

Ras and Tactical Archetype Coli recognize Cerise as a dangerous opponent and decide they still have to defeat her in order to claim the special power she is guarding.

After Ras wins, Cerise briefly regains consciousness and recognizes him, but Coli explains that the power forced through her body has left her drained.

Cerise then disappears from the Pyramid, and Ras concludes that, like others defeated in the tournament system, she was likely ejected from the space entirely.

Monolith Showdown therefore uses Cerise less as an independent actor than as one of the victims of Notos’s scheme, while still emphasizing that she is strong enough for Coli to reassure Ras not to worry about her survival.

Taken together, these stories present Cerise as a character who can function in both serious and light contexts without losing her poise.

In Welcome to Oasis Land, she appears only in passing, but her cameo still reinforces the sense that the restored park has become a lively destination worth traveling to and enjoying.

In Orbis Gladiatorium and Monolith Showdown, by contrast, she is a capable and disciplined combatant caught up in larger conflicts surrounding the Axe and the Pyramid.
